I have a most unfortunate affliction...in that I have fragments of multiple worlds proliferating in my head. Suffice it to say I can't stop coming up with story ideas. Although many of them are just characters and general places...without a resolution or much plot... After reading a certain book recently, I starting getting base ideas for various characters to be thrown together cause they have nowhere else to be. Think like "the island of misfit toys" or a boarding house for the magically misbegotten. Drunk cat - Used to an incorrigible lech, but was dumb enough to make a rather unfortunate comparison after spending a night with a sorceress An immortal - whether he is alive or dead is up for debate. His explanation runs along the lines something along the lines of "You know how it is a bad idea to get in a fight with a girl?" "Yeah..." "Well, it turns out the Ferryman isn't actually a man..." "O_o;;" A fairy - suffers from some type of amnesia due to an inaptitude for forget spells, causing them to backfire. Basically unable to use magic. Whether the amnesia is chronic or happens every time he reaches the fairy handbook chapter on forget spells is undecided. Probably a few others to keep them company, but they haven't popped up yet... |

See, I cure that ailment by making random freeform private RPs over IRC. If you want I could go on for pages and pages about my favorite characters... |

Larry, the half-cyclops- 9 feet, 392 pounds of confusion. Larry's dad was a human sot who apparently had the worst case of beer goggles ever and bedded down a 12 foot tall one-eyed behemoth with foot-log tusks. Larry has worn a paper bag over his head since the age of 5. He's now 215, so no one alive today has any idea what he looks like since his mom's passing at the ripe old age of 321. There are betting pools on how many eyes he actually has, on what month and year his face will be revealed, and on when he'll get his first piece of tail. All of this amuses Larry to no end. |
