Now I am not sure if it has been reported or not but I spent 1600xp on motivation to reach the level 2 cap of 70. Then I leveled up to level 3 and I still only have 70 motivation? Shouldn't I have 74 now? What happened to the base level motivation boost? Did I miss it for spending my xp for extra motivation? If so I won't get any more motivation until level 7 IF i don't spend any more xp on motivation. I really hope this is a bug because if it isn't I will be very unmotivated due to the 1600xp I was ripped off for.

Wow. I don't think anyone has tried that before. Usually for 1600 xp, they would just have leveled to like level 5. But good catch, it should have taken your max up to 74 motivation.

I boosted my moti by 1 when I was a young thing who didn't know any better, and my cap's one higher every level than it ought to be - for example, at level 10 it's now 87.

I've refunded your experience; looks like something may be slightly screwy which I'll look into.

I'm tempted to remove the ability to purchase motivation. It's confusing, and not very efficient.

But I actually like that feature! I like being able to increase my mot cap without having to save up for the next level. I'm not quite at the stage where I have room for mot to accumulate if I only get a chance to log in once in 24 hours, but that is an eventual goal.

And I am not sure but I think at some of the lower levels you hit the cap on moti roughly every 12 hours. Or maybe it was just me being a couple hours late for the 12 hour mark...

Wow, I would have been happy with just my missing motivation. 8o I too like the ability to purchase motivation. (I did stay at lvl 2 until I hit the cap after all.) I hope you bring it back after you figure out whatever is buggy with it.

As always thank you for your time.

I do agree it's a bit confusing, but I think that if you remove the ability to add to your max motivation, you really need to raise the amount of motivation that can be stored. This becomes a SERIOUS issue as you approach and pass level 19. If you get to level 19 without adding any motivation, you MUST login every 12 hours and 12 minutes or you will lose motivation due to hitting the cap.

Personally durring levels 16-18, I spent a LOT of experience to get my max motivation raised to 200ish, and level 19 I raised it all the way to 240, which ment I could wait a full 24 hours between rounds of attack. I currently login twice per day so I can stay in my job as much as possible, but I only take my golem out once per day since burning that much motivation takes quite a while, even with 1 second turn-arounds. With the once per day attacking, I can do something else while attacking if I want to go attack something farther than 1 sec away. When you're looking at an hour or more of attacking, being able to do it all at once is very very nice.
