Not really sure if this is a bug or not but here we go! ***** Your Bone Golem remains on the ground, unable to stand. A death scavenger beetle attacks with its needle-like spines and misses once, failing to hit at all. Your Bone Golem attacks with its fist and misses once, but also hits the pelvis (4 dmg), the left arm (5 dmg) and the chest (5 dmg). A death scavenger beetle splits apart, shell oozing noxious goo. ***** Seems that my golem is so hardcore it killed the beetle while on the ground. I know combat ends if the pelvis goes so I just wanted to see if this was as it's supposed to be and all. |

I had something similar happen to me recently too. I seem to remember in the past that losing both legs put your golem down for the count, but I can't remember. Either way, it's very odd. |

Losing the pelvis puts your golem out, which is what I'd been remembering. I can't recall ever losing both legs and not the pelvis. |

Yup, the pelvis seems to go before both legs go the majority of the time. But on rare occasions when the stars are aligned jus so, both legs will be knocked out before the pelvis. And if the golem has a usable weapon still for fighting (an arm+hand or a flametongue/screaming mask), the fight will continue. If it has no arms, you get the "limbless remains of xxx's golem" message. Edit: Fixing a few typos.Last Edited: Apr 10, 2009, 11:48 pm |

Losing both legs doesn't necessarily end the combat unless it was due to the pelvis getting smacked. If you lose central components (chest, abdomen, or pelvis), that's pretty much game over, but a leg destruction could imply a "below the knee" loss. Kep |
