The campus of Magisterius University was a large one, full of nooks, crannies, and less-used conference rooms; with finals having recently concluded and summer classes not yet begun, the classrooms and conference areas were being used even less. This particular room was rarely in use; in fact, it was still in disarray from the last Summit meeting held months ago. Thus, it made a perfect meeting place for the Fellowship to gather and discuss, behind closed doors, their secret - and sinister - plans.
Yamiko blinked at the people before her; her cousin aside, she didn't really know most of the faculty, so this had hit her totally out of the blue. She tucked a strand of her strawberry-blond hair behind her ear, and looked around the room incredulously, before speaking slowly. "So... wait. You want to do what with the Chancellor? When?!"

| Daryoon rubs his chin as he responds "Well the Chancellor has done so much for the university, it would be a great idea to have a sort of party for him." He is dressed partially in armor today as he was just out with Closer fighting several horned scorpion lizards for his morning exercise. The armor has several scuff marks but is otherwise mirrorlike and his black cape billows out slightly behind him it's blue inlay almost invisible to the blackness of it. |

| Raiden couldn't help but wonder why exactly they wanted his help with it. Sure, he could hang things up or make sure someone didn't skip out on a job...but he never really had a hand in parties. Something about large amounts of people tended to make this difficult. His robes were pretty warn with a mix of grease and burns and bits of clay, but despite that, his face and hair were clean. "Well, it's true he's done a lot and I'm sure no one would object...but what exactly would you DO for a party? |

| "Well, I suppose we could invite the faculty and any students who felt like showing their appreciation for the Chancellor, they would be free to attend. | "Well things have been kinda slow lately, so I figured a party might be in order." He pauses for a moment lost in thought. "Ah I have just the idea. What say you all to a Masquerade Ball? Everyone comes in a costume be it animal, golem, what have you; anything unusual or exotic is fine. Open it up to all the residents of Muelsfell. And to top it off I will offer a prize of 10,000 gold pieces to the best costume. Everyone who attends gets a vote and the person with the most votes at the end of the night will win the prize. The one rule is you cannot vote for yourself you must vote for someone else. Ah another note: I cannot win, it won't do." He glances expectantly to the others gathered. "Nothing to relieve a little stress like a party, eh?" |

| Raiden seemed a bit...apprehensive to the idea. "You want to open the ball to the public? That could become a little...messy. The costumes are not that bad of an idea though, but first you'd have to make sure that we could keep it a secret from the Chancellor." |

| "That's an awful lot of rules for a party - are you sure you can enforce them? I mean, some people, not to be named, are very anti-establishment... add a rule about no explosive costumes, would you?" Yamiko tucks some hair behind her ear, frowning a little. |

| He considers her request. "Hmmmm, if you wish I will host it at my villa there is an open field, I can host it there and any troubles will be my own. Of course I would not encourage any exploding costumes but any damage done I will handle. As far as rules the only one that counts is to not vote for yourself. Anything else I can handle" He smiles. "A party like this will be worth it. It has been rather dull around here lately so some excitement even an explosion or two will spice things up." He gives a rogueish wink and turns to Raiden. "What say you magus, nothing like a little chaos to refresh the soul eh?" |

| Raiden...didn't really look at him any differently, but there was the distinct idea that he was paying this a LOT more mind. "You do have a point. I don't see why it would be TOO much trouble for a 'little' dressing up." Raiden itched his chin a little as he was considering...something. |

He pauses for a moment to gather his thoughts and continues "I will put something in the paper about the party and what is required of everyone, that would be hard to keep him from seeing, unless you think you are up for a challenge Yamiko?" He looks at her questioningly. "You should be able to send out a memo to the faculty, inviting them all to attend. And Raidan if you wish, can provide a cake or some other surprise for us all to honor Kaelas, that would be splendid. I will get to work preparing the dance area and food.... Ah yes, Yamiko i enjoyed the cateering we had at the diplomatic function we had recently if you could get me their info I will hire them to cateer for us." |

I can take over scanning newspapers for relevant items so he has more time to work on his projects, thus isolating him from a newspaper article, and I can tell him he's been invited to a masque without revealing the nature of such, thus getting him dressed up and present while still surprised. I can get you the catering info, as well. That shouldn't be a problem. The major problem would be..." She hesitates, glancing at Daryoon as though unsure of something. |

| His eyebrows raise slightly "A problem would be?...." His mind races as he tries to figure out what any problems with the party might be. He glances briefly at Raiden but he looks lost in thought as well. He returns his concerned gaze back to Yamiko. |

He rubs his chin a little bit "I suppose I can try and dig a little too, not sure how much I can find as most media will be about his position rather than his tastes in music. I can give a short speach and highlight some of his achievments; those would be in the media, he might like that? What do you think?" |
