When casting a strength spell on a golem, it raises the golem's weight capacity. It seems that when going over the old weight capacity in combat, the golem is falsely registered as overloaded. This overloading should not be the case if the spell is still active. Also, perhaps include a warning message, similar to the lack-of-eyes message, when a golem is overloaded. It would help out in a lot of situations. |

I have noticed that problem recently too. I was testing a glass golem some, and needed some extra strength to armour it against an addy. And I got the overloaded message in combat. |

Hm, good suggestion on having a warning message. The overloaded problem has to do with the stage that the spell effects are triggered. Changing the order is in theory a simple change, but may have unpredictable results. I'll try it in development and see what happens. [Edit] - I take that back: this isn't a simple change after all. It will take some significant changes to correct. KepLast Edited: Apr 30, 2009, 5:01 pm |
