I was thinking, perhaps there should be defense-focused weapons, something to reduce the damage potential advantage an attacker has, and maybe entice people to leave out something a bit more meaningful than a small flesh or bone golem, with ranged weapons to run away if they are in a ranged or item clan. My idea is a ranged weapon with reasonably high weight, relatively high damage output, that also reduces the golems movement speed to 0 and doesn't let it leave the workshop. A basic one could potentially be summoned for 24 hours with a spell slot, while ranged clans get an improved version. It would also seem sensible for defense clans to get an improved version, although theirs would likely be lighter, but have less damage output than would ranged. |

I like anything to give defense a bit more power. As it is right now, the options to defend your workshop are rather underpowered and limited. |

You could always make breakfast burritos and invite the fat mages to defend your workshop.... Trust me, no golem is going to walk into that purple haze.... |
