| For a social game there is no chat. Maybe something that one could choose to open to have active chat going in. I dunno, would make the game more of a community though I think. |

Before yami or someone else goes for your throat for not checking old threads and whatnot...
There already is such being used, although not as much as we would like.
Darkmyst [darkmyst.org/] hosts the irc network. You can use that link, put your muelsfell name for the nickname, and the channel is #muelsfell_conference, then just hit login. It will open mibbit in a new tab.
If you have your own IRC program I am not really sure how to connect so you would do well to ask one of the others.
P.S. The room/channel is nominally hosted by ToMU. |

ToMU has a sort of chat room. Generally people from the game that we talk with stop on the IRC channel #muelsfell_conference on the network irc.darkmyst.org. Other, non-ToMU members stop in there on regular occasion. It's quite fun and useful tool.

| Full respect for TOMU for organising chat, but I do agree with Xlrate - can't believe I'm saying that!! ;). a general In game chat and clan only chats would be a great addition to the game. I'm sure I've posted about this before somewhere. |

| Just having a mibbit plugin accessible on the site itself would go a long way towards promoting the chat. You can customize the plugins to fit the site theme to some degree, it's easy to use, and we'll keep running the chat so it's no additional work for Kep after it's put in. |

| That would actually work since it opens the chat in a new tab. Anything else wouldn't be very viable with flipping through pages for almost every action. There would also be issues of page and memory space for any kind of chat box on the normal pages. |

| Yeah. Just adding a tab to the menu that says "Chat" and having it be on its own page would suffice if it was a mibbit thing. |

Aghnobadbadbad! That links to the general Darkmyst webchat. It's the server that the chat room is hosted on, the actual chat room is #muelsfell_conference which is not what the generic link leads to.
