The Old School Rock achievement is no longer registering my Stone golem's kills. (or showing the old ones) In addition the kills of the Storm giant by it ARE being registered & the damage done ISN'T being added to Master Smasher (which also seems a bit lower than before) Could my Stone no longer be registering for achievements? (assuming that registering SG kills is done independently of the golem) |

FYI my Master Smasher is currently at 50,004 of 100,000 (before I did some Homunculus hit it was < 50,000 & I really thought it had already gone over that + none of my golems have been destroyed (though many many bits have been knocked off :p)) |

This should be fixed, though I'm expecting a problem with "ownerless" golems (those currently in a clan depot) not registering for achievements. Let me know if weirdness continues. Kep |

If a golem has no owner, who should it be giving an achievement *to*, exactly? That sounds like it works as expected. |

Thank you very much Arkham! It now seems to be working as intended again :) Yamikuronue, maybe he means that if a golem has been in a clan depot it might not register properly once it is donated to a player? |

Or alternatively, if you have it spread over more than one golem, and then one gets donated to the Clan... |

Logically, it should work as follows: achievement is on or off. Once turned on, it can never be turned off. If achievement is off and <insert list of requirements here> are met, turn achievement on. Therefore, a golem in the depot does not contribute to the <list of requirements> for any given player, thus not activating their achievement, but if they have the achievement and then donate the golem, they don't lose it. |

I meant that golems currently in a clan depot, if given to a player, wouldn't work for achievements. That, too, should correct itself now, as "ownerless" golems will default to the first person receiving it as the creator. Both this achievement problem and the one for Master Smasher were a result of tweaks made to prevent a bug that allowed a single golem from qualifying multiple people for the same achievement just by passing it around -- you'll need to use a golem you've created to get those achievements now. OR...if you're the first to receive an "ownerless" golem from a clan depot, it'll default to you as creator and you'll be able to qualify for achievements with it. Not a perfect solution obviously, but at least clan depot golems aren't completely useless for achievements. Kep |
