I wish I could send you screen shot becuase it won;t let me copy paste.

This has happened several times. Started less than a week ago.

Begins a battle
Creature dies
Round 4 of battle
Round 5 of battle

Or something similar to that - the combat results are being reported out of sequence.

It's odd that you can't copy-paste it; there's nothing I put into the site to prevent that, so it may be a browser issue perhaps?

Anyway, if you can take a screenshot, upload to photobucket or similar, then put the link here (or send it to me via the message system if you don't want anyone else to see it), I'll try to track it down.

That goes for anyone who spots weird combat results. Post or send me a message with the screenshot linkage.

I saw something similar to that too. I just got the three day free premium, and I turned off the rounds where the combatants were merely advancing, and I got like eight lines of combat report, then [round 1 &2 were used advancing] with more combat stuff, then rounds four and five. I used up the rest of my motivation trying it again, got the same thing, reset that option... realized that I couldn't test it since I had used up all my motivation, and came searching the bug reports to see where I should report it... I'm using Safari 3.1.1 on OS X 10.5.3, if that helps.
Edit: Ok, I tried it againwith the precombat rounds visible and everything was perfect, and then turned them off and got this:
The moderate ice interferes with the combat. Homunculus attacks with its fist and misses once, failing to hit at all.
A woolly mastiff attacks with its sharp fangs and misses once, failing to hit at all.
Homunculus attacks with its fist and misses once, failing to hit at all.

A woolly mastiff attacks with its sharp fangs and misses once, failing to hit at all.
Homunculus attacks with its fist and misses once, failing to hit at all.
Homunculus attacks with its fist and misses once, failing to hit at all.
[Rounds 1-2 spent advancing.] Homunculus attacks with its fist and misses 12 times, failing to hit at all.
A woolly mastiff attacks with its sharp fangs and misses 5 times, but also hits once on the right arm (13 dmg). The right arm flies apart in a shower of torn leather and stitches!
[Round 3] The combat stalls as both opponents either lack the energy to attack or are in no condition to strike back.
[Round 5] The combat stalls as both opponents either lack the energy to attack or are in no condition to strike back.
[Round 9] The combat stalls as both opponents either lack the energy to attack or are in no condition to strike back.

here's a little wierd something that seems to happen alot with beating golems. I made the golem unable to fight, and it STILL did 2 hits on my afterward.

Your Brass Golem closes to melee with her God's Gift.

Your Brass Golem uses its fist and hits once on the chest (4 dmg). After that mighty blow, there is a short pause before the seals on individual adamantine pieces give out and the parts fall off like flower petals.

Her God's Gift attacks with its fist and misses once, but also hits [b]the head (24 dmg) and the left arm (27 dmg).[\b]

Her God's Gift shuts down due to excessive damage.

The attacker's line always goes above the defenders... and the sequence of the individual attacks always go in the reverse order of their occurrence.

So, that combat was a 27 damage attack to your left arm, a 24 damage attack to your head, a four damage attack to her chest, then her defeat.

The out-of-sequence bug is very much related to the "Ignore Rounds w/ Advancing" toggle. First step towards fixing this issue meant removing two options from the Profile page that didn't work.

"Hide Combat" and "Ignore Misses" were removed; these two functions didn't work anyway but were planned at one point. "Hide Combat" morphed into "Brief Reports" at some stage.

I also moved "Brief Reports" and "Reports when Attacking" to the Profile page. They will still be accessible from the Reports page as well.

Working on the out-of-sequence bug now, though it's going to be a tricky one to resolve.

This should be fixed now.
