What's with the smoked cheese, and should there be a rigously enforced CSM that only downwind Magi & Workshops can attempt it?

I tried to smoke cheese once, but I couldn't keep the pizza lit.

Seems that some Spined Trolls have started taking a liking to the stuff, over in the Upper Zalfung... seriously. Those nasty critters, all covered in mud... I don't see why magi like that stuff so much. Too hard to get, covered in mud... bleh!

Confirmed. The spined troll will drop it (very rarely)
... and it will start an entirely new economy...

Not quite worth the golem I lost fighting the troll. *sigh* ZERO pts of attack vs. 120pts of damage inflicted in two rounds, nearly all of it on the chest. Poor, fully armored and maxed Homonculous. He'd been doing rather well.

There's a reason I don't send Munkies at creatures anymore, only properly outfitted Hunters. Did you know that a Bone 3 still gets 10 XP off of the Spined Troll?

I can't get anything bigger than a level 1 wood golem there for 6 motivation, so it's gem golem or homonc, and as stated above, the homunculi are in danger of getting smashed there.

Sigh... just no luck all I got was one cheese after 50+ spiny troll deaths :( all I got was a bunch of useless silver and gold... okay the gold isn't that useless :P

But ... At least the shield works :) (YEAH HALF WALL SHIELD on a clay golem lv1)

Oh yes a wood 1 is very fine to hunt with. Totally slaughter the thing consistantly for less time it takes to get to the giant. Whoo! Dead Spined Trolls!

I've farmed all mine - no idea what the current market rate is (the market is downright crazy since actually good prices disappear already - what we see is the "bad" trades that are going stale...)

Whatcha think 2:1?

Wonderful! Time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone!
Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. Which can be just as much of a good thing if you don't like cheese. True?
