Can't imagine why you'd want one, but if you do I can make them. Level 3 for now and working on expanding.

Level 1 requires 7500 Brass. My charge for building one is 7750 brass (that gets you the full torso only).

I would consider other offers of similar value. I estimate that using the alchemists at Kern works out at around 700 money for 500 brass at the moment.

Send me a message if you want to commission one.

Marnen.

Edit: Adding build costs and my charge (for the torso only) below...

Level 1: Build cost 7500 brass, My charge 7750 brass
Level 2: Build cost 11250 brass, My charge 11500 brass
Level 3: Build cost 16875 brass, My charge 17125 brass

Note: since I cannot sell a torso on the market you will also have to provide resources (or parts) for me to construct the rest of the golem. I can make iron 2 parts at 5750 iron or flesh 1 for cost (800 flesh per part) if you just want junk bits to enable the transfer. Anything else you'll have to provide yourself.

this brings up a bigger point. I too had researched brass and built one, but brass is insanely more expensive than copper for a return of hardly nil in power over a copper.

It seems the balance of these three metal golems is off to me.

It takes 75,000 iron, 3,750 gems, and 1500 money to make a brass torso.

I think it's supposed to be that way. Brass is arbitrarily more expensive for the sole purpose of keeping that type of golem less common. Brass golems are exotic, not necessarily perfectly useful.

I know it's my first post on the forums but from what I have gathered browsing in the charts brass golems do sonic damage (12 at level 1) and have a resistance to it (25 at level 1), where the rest of the golems do not.

They may have their use in PvP when your enemy's golem/s have no innate resistance to them. May be exotic and lucrative but people forgot to see the one positive thing about them. :P

copper bandings cheap as chips, sonic damage is quite a bit harder and a lot more expensive to defend against than fire

The bronze and brass golems are pretty much the same, and have the same difficulties to armour agains, need to use plate. But bronze is cheaper than brass. The only major use I can think of for brass is to armour it up with plate and use it to shred other exotic golems.
