The sun was shining bright over the Forests of Last Alvia Dawning, sending waves of humidity crashing up from the near by mosswash. It has been just over a week since the events with blaze.

Bordering the Estate is a dense forest, a large maintained iron gate, guarding the winding cobble stone road leading into the estate, stands open. With in the forest, small Wood golems can be seen tending to the trees and harvesting ripened fruit. Further Up road, barely within sight a Mid sized Iron golem can be seen blocking the way.

A coach drawn by a pair of matching horses, sturdy beasts but not show animals, approach the gates. As they pass through, they begin to slow in order to allow someone to exit. Kaelas steps from the carriage to walk alongside, in case they're stopped.

Seeing the Carriage pull up, the Iron golem converges with the carriage. The Iron shows signs of heavy battle damage, The Iron of the torso are deeply grooved and the leather strap warping the arms are burnt and worn. Turning to Kaelas a rough scratching voice come from the Iron. â��Welcome to the Ironsmith Estate, if you wish to continue further into the estate Iâ��d would ask you to Identify yourself and show me an invitati-.â�� A large shuddering noise come from deep within the golem, and the iron begins to sink down as though it had been drugged, before snapping back up. â��-on. I will also need to check your means of transportation.â��

Kaelas frowns, not pleased with someone using a golem in such disrepair. Still, it might have been only recently damaged. "Kaelas Kuronue with guest. I have an invite" he continues, holding said document up for the golem to look over.

He glances over the carriage. Not fancy but high quality, it's made of hard woods for the most part. The most notable part of it, besides perhaps Kaelas's crest on each side, is that the workings are highly maintained and top of the line. Which makes sense, considering that he more than likely has his still healing daughter in there- good suspension would be something of a must.

Bending down the Iron looks over the invitation. "Acceptable." it clearly states before continuing to the side of the carriage. Opening the door looks in before standing strait again. "You may now enter the Estate proper, please leave your carriage at the stables along the road leading to my masters home where it will be tended."

Moving out of the way the iron begins walking to wards the gate, before it suddenly stalls again and then horrendous grinding noise comes again from within. The iron shudders once more before it continues walking along, as if nothing happened.

Up it the tress, barely noticeable, something tiny watches.

Giving the Iron a shallow nod of awknowledgement, Kaelas clucks softly to the horses to start them again. When they reach the stables, Kaelas guides the coach in to the proper spot, then goes to open the carriage door.

"Yamiko, we're here" he says softly, not wanting to startle her in case she had dozed during the ride.

Kaelas smiles as he counters "You said you wanted to get out of your room, go do something." He opens the carriage door and steps up. After wresting for a second he steps back out with a wheelchair, which he sets down and starts to ready.

Yamiko blushes a little. She'd never been exactly vain, but this... this was a pretty big change. "Couldn't we just wait until I can walk normally?"

Smiling to himself (and being darn carefull to make sure it's only to himself!), Kaelas shakes his head. "It might be months until you can walk unassisted. Granted, we can upgrade to crutches sometime before that." He finishes setting up and goes to lean on the door into the carriage. "There's no shame in this, croi. You were wounded on the killing field, fighting with all you are. But... my other offer still stands if you prefer."

Yamiko rolls her eyes, allowing herself to be lifted into the wheelchair defeatedly. "As if. Though you could use the workout, tubby." she says, poking him in the stomach once seated. Settling in, she looks up at the building before her, curious how other magi live.

Kaelas scowls at her dramatically, then glances down at himself. Maybe a pound or two. At most. Alpha had this new technique for making frosting... and you need some kind of baked good to put the frosting on... and taste-testers to see how it came out...

"Ha-ha. Let's go met our host for the evening." He heads for the door as he talks, pushing Yamiko ahead of him smoothly. Sure, she can push herself but with her ribs wrapped, she runs out of breath easily. And he feels better for helping, even in a trival matter.

The door is unlocked allowing for Kaelas and Yamiko to enter unopposed. With the lightest touch the seemingly heavy oak door swings open showing the bight plant filled room beyond. Sun comes in though skylight shining the bright summer rays down on the beautiful plants and flowers, but that isn't what catches the eye. In the center of the room is a woman, no a golem, composed completely of gold and silver. The light makes her- the golem glow with radiance.

She turns around and with a voice surprisingly light and full of life cheerfully says, "Oh hello, you must be Kaelas." Turning her attention, "And, oh my. You must be Yamiko. I head what happened, and I do hope your feeling better."

Kaelas blinks, but answers smoothly enough, "Yes we are. And thank you for your concern. Might we have your name?" Interesting. If this golem is unSparked (or the equivilent), then its programing is far beyond what Coyble was able to produce. If that's not the case... then Kaelas is beginning to suspect most, if not all, of the leaders of the major Clans have also done the supposedly sinful research he had.

OCC- just to note, Coyble is Kaelas's not so affectionate nickname for Father Coyne.

"Oh I forgot to introduce my self again didn't I." a radiant smile spread across her face "I'm Lucy, Lucy Lavoy." Turning her attention once again to Yamiko, "And I'm glad your feeling better Yamiko, would you like some tea or water?" Much closer now, one can tell that Lucy is no average golem. The craftsmanship that when into her is superb. She is simply flawless, and upon even further inspection one can see that the silver and even the gold have a slight blue tint. Her eyes, if one didn't know better, looked human, and on any other golem would be unsettling. A true work of art.

Looking up at the beautiful woman, Yamiko finds herself faintly jealous. Sure, the woman is a golem, but she was flawless - and she had the use of her limbs. She could be repaired if damaged, unlike Yamiko, who would spend probably weeks in this stupid chair...

"Hello Lucy. You remind me very much of my Laika back home," she says, politely. Better to think of Laika Rose - proof that she could create beauty, even if she was not particularly beautiful herself.

Giving Yamiko a considering look, Kaelas asks politely "Is Gordon home? He's expecting us for dinner, I believe." He smiles gently, still trying to figure out if Lucy is self-aware or not and wanting to err on the side of politeness in case she turns out to indeed be so. "Are we early?"

As if on cue a large bang is heard from some where behind the house. Smiling Lucy replies, "Yes both of us where expecting, but there's been a small rash of break downs and Gordon's oh back trying to get some repairs done. He should be done soon" Snapping her fingers sending a metal ring though the room Lucy faces a wood golem standing in the corner of the room. "Keven, go fetch some drinks for our guests." Bowing the golem swiftly replies by rushing in to a hallway.

"Lets head in to the dining room," she says while motioning to a different hallway, "dinner shouldn't be very long."

Raising an eyebrow at the explaination, Kaelas debates with himself for a moment, then asks "Would he perhaps like some assistance? I don't mind in the least" he assures her. Planning on taking Yamiko to the table regardless of whether Lucy takes him up on his offer, Kaelas starts to wheel her towards the dining room.

"Oh he'll be just fine, besides I love to chat some more before he finishes." Lucy begins to walk down the hall. "I think you should enjoy the food. All of it is grown here at the Estate. Gordon said you'd enjoy a less extravagant meal, but don't you worry it should be delectable." Lucy continues down the hall, stops at a doorway and turns around. "Just in here."

Kaelas shrugs, not terribly annoyed at the idea of getting something to eat. And it sounds like Gordon is either lucky or a good judge of character as the menu of good but not fancy food sounds perfect. "So... bit of a guess based on where we first saw you, but are you the one that cares for the house plants and gardens? They reflect well on your house." He smiles at her as he wheels his daughter along.

Seeing look forming over Yamiko's face Luck sighs, she knew this was bound to happen. "Honey, don't start thinking that way. This body wasn't built for anything like what your thinking." Lucy takes a deep breath, "Gordon Invited you here for a very important reason. We wish to share some knowledge with you, and to understand how Gordon came upon this knowledge. You need to understand how this form came to be, and how I am speaking to you now."
