With dinner winding down Gordon waves to the wood golems to begin taking the plates. "Well I'm glad we could have a good time before we get down to business." Gordon smiles once more before the expression leaves his face.

Raising an eyebrow at the somewhat abrupt change of topic, Kaelas settles back to listen. He'd thought that the unusual status of his wife had been the reason for the dinner but it appears that Gordon has more revelations or surprises to unveil.

"What's on your mind?" he asks evenly, steepling his fingers together and resting his chin on the tips. Yamiko at least would recognize that as a clear signal that he's focusing on what comes next very intently. His 'game face' if you will.

"Well Kaelas I won't beat around the bush. While I personal am not one hundred percent sure of where you came from, I do know this. You being here, and you admitting your here, realises my fears." Gordon replies.

Speaking up Lucy says, "When you originally came here, we thought you where one of it's minions, but you showed far too much autonomy."

"Of course we didn't want to go out and kill another sentient being, so we just kept an eye on you." Gordon adds.

Kaelas stops, his drink half-way to his mouth. After a moment, he carefully sets his drink down on the table, then adjusts it slightly so it's on the same spot as before. "Well."

He glances over at Yamiko. "And you said me being... overly motivated... would never end well." His attempt to lighten the mood with some humor done, he adds softly to Gordon and Lucy "I truly hope that you're not done explaining." One of his hands slips beneath the table as he angles himself so that he has a clear move towards Yamiko.

Yamiko blinks. "Ah, excuse me... what minions? Is there some... threat to the realm?"

"Now before you jump to conclusions, You have to understand, we weren't being 'overly motivated" Gordon begins.

"We have noted growing disturbances in Muelsfell for years." Lucy sighs, "Things have been... manifesting."

"If we didn't think you where trust worthy, I would have never invited you. Things are changing, boundaries are weakening. Look at the activity in Southmount, the wraiths, the horrific wild life popping up."

Kaelas relaxes a hair. "So.. this is, what? A recruitment drive?" he asks slowly. Interesting... not that he has a lot of time to spare, given his... previous entanglements (most of his own making, a snide part of his mind adds), but... still. Giving some small help at the start can be worth more than whole armies offered almost too late.

"But first, my daughter asked a rather good question there. 'Minions' of what?" He asks intently. He's... been around, one could say, and seen much. Who knows, he might well have heard or even encountered this whatever already.

"We don't think it has a name per say." Lucy answers. "And the it minions are varied. It has, had worshipers, and we have strong reasons to believe the temporal wraiths are some of it's warriors."

"And I wouldn't say this would be a 'recruitment drive.' We'd just like to know we have some allies if everything goes to hell."

Yamiko narrows her eyes a little. "New monsters are discovered all the time. In my parent's day, we hadn't even confirmed that the Mountain Giant was more than a mere myth. There's enough sensationalism going on in the newspaper without trying to connect the monster appearances to some vast conspiracy. Meaning no disrespect, but I fail to see the need for action."

Of course, she knows about the Temporal Wraith. The report on the subject had crossed the Chancellor's desk, which meant she had read it. She had done her best to keep her suspicions on that particular occurrence from him, and advised the magus whose speculation had created the report to keep quiet about it, for fear of undermining the TOMU Chancellor's authority and good name. Not that he wasn't entirely capable of doing so on his own, she thinks bitterly. Still. Best to squash things that might cause a panic, particularly when there is no proof and the suspicions are unprovable.

Kaelas nods. "She has a point in the relatively... not harmless, but..." he thinks for a second "natural works, I suppose... progression of older monsters and appearance of new ones."

He sips his water, then continues "However, while I agree that you've so far not presented anything that would drive me to action, I am willing to listen to the rest of your story. At the very least, it's a story I've not heard before. At best, it's a warning about a new threat I've no information on currently." He spreads his hands, as if to suggest, given those outcomes, it's the obvious choice to at least hear Gordon out.

"I think your misunderstanding us we don't want action, at least not yet. Not only does it make ourselves look suspicious, but it could stir up panic and that's the last thing any one wants." Lucy replies.

Gordon stands up, "And besides if you want proof, why don't you follow me. Keven," The Golem stands to attention. "Please aid Yamiko in any way she requires."

Lucy Appears to have been ready to object, but instead says. "I hope you know what your doing."

Yamiko tenses a little at the idea of an unfamiliar golem steering her chair, but doesn't protest. When she gets back, she'll assign one of her remaining unsparked golems to locomotion. After all, she decides, it's silly to have to rely on anyone, even the Chancellor, for something as simple as movement.

She glances up at the golem. "If you would just push my chair, I can accompany the others." She's polite, despite assuming the golem is unsparked. She wasn't raised to be rude or demanding, despite her sternness.

Kaelas eyes the golem for a moment but shrugs it off. The basic coding of any golem, by law, forbids the harming of humans. Of course, a Magus could decide to break that law and make a golem capable of murder but... unlikely, to say the least.

He rises as well, then gesture for the golem to push Yamiko ahead so he can take the rear of the group, where he can watch everyone. Not that he's paranoid or anything. "Could you perhaps... give a brief verbal preview?" He clears his throat pointedly, then Gordon would hear a very faint whisper. "Yamiko's... very stressed. I don't want her upset."

Gordon smiles a knowing smile. "I'm about to should you something I managed to capture. I believe it came in with the other temporal wraiths." Gordon turns down a different hallway and opens a door leading outside to a stone path. "We keep them in a special complex, which we keep secure." Gordon stops on a odd shaped platform and patiently waits for the others to catch up. "I hope you don't mind, but I need to keep the location secret."

Kaelas shrugs. Worst to worst, he can kill Gordon and Lucy to save Yamiko's life. Granted, that would cost him his own life but... "Lead on" he says politely.

"Alright, then." Gordon doesn't need magic powers to see the tension in in the Air. Clapping his hands together the platform begins to glow. "And here we ar-." Everything goes black for a split second before the light returns. "Welcome to my personal sanctuary. I could hold off the entire Dimitrian Republican Guard from in here."

Where ever this sanctuary isn't clear, but it makes everything else on Gordon estate look quaint. The dome room contains more magical items, books, and other rarities then it seems one man could collect. slowly rotating on the roof is a spinning series of planets stars and in the center a pitch black orb that emits tiny pins of white light.

Breaking the silence Lucy says, "Lets continue." she walks over to a heavy steel door and opens it into a bright room. "Just this way."

Yamiko can't help it - she lets out a small, girlish gasp as the sight is first revealed. Her face immediately closes down again, though. She knew one magus that had built something similar, at least with the planets - and he had not liked her one bit. Still. The sheer number of books... her fingers twitch a little as she glances at them in longing. So much knowledge contained here, locked away from the world...

Gordon continues into the brightly light room, knowing full well the the knowledge in these rooms would amaze even the great Akhenaten. "I understand how you might be sceptical about any form of "great evil" but I assure you I would bring your here if I wasn't certain something troubling was occurring." Gordon steps to the side too allow his guest a view at the three wraiths each contained and bond in a magical sphere of energy.

The wraith in the center is just like any other wraith Red eyes and it seemed to be screaming though no sound can be seen. To it's left another wraith, but this one is different it's eyes are a yellow orange. it seems more corporeal, in each hand is a black dagger covered in strange sigils, and unlike its friend it does not seem to be resiting at all. Finlay too the right is another wraith, again different from the rest. It too seems more corporeal but it's eyes are green and its dark swirling body glows with unnatural energy.

"These are the first 3 types I've managed to capture," Gordon tells his guests. "The normal wraiths seem too be incapable of sentient thought, but the others are a different story..."

Kaelas looks around, impressed but not awed. The Keep was bigger and more staggering, he thinks a little smugly. Granted, that's his Mother's home, not his... anyway. When Gordon revealed the trio of wraiths, Kaelas smoothly glided closer to Yamiko, without even seeming to be aware of it.

After a moment's study, Kaelas comments dryly "I assume you keep them around for more than just show and tell?" He brow furrows slightly. "...and just how aware are the 'abnormal' ones?"

Before Gordon can speak the yellow eyed wraith breaks free from one of it's bonds and slashes it's blade, ineffectively, across its "cage."

"There quite aware, and I think Krerresh likes you, but not in a healthy way. " Gordon replies with a smirk. "Krerresh as it calls itself is an assassin of sorts, and is the most intelligent, and cunning of the lot. The green one doesn't seem to have a name, but is still far more intelligent the standard wraiths. when I first came across it the other wraiths where beginning to gather around it and it was shrieking what I think where orders, because the others began to patrol and scout the area." Gordon stop for a moment before asking. "Would you like to speak with them?"

Kaelas raises an eyebrow. "...sure. What's involved with doing that?" He's not really sure how to take all of this so he's mostly just observing everything to think about latter.

"Humm you speak too it, and it speaks back." Gordon walks up too "Yellow eye's" cage and renews the broken bond. "I will have too warn you though, while I don't think it's capable of lying to it is very painful too listen too. Not detrimental in anyway, but still painful."

Lucy quietly leaves the room to go back in too the sanctuary.

"Don't go feeling sympathy for it Yamiko. These are vile creatures that don't have too feed on life energies, but do so because they prefer it to other food sources." Gordon shakes his head. "They look at us the same way we would look at a steak or piece of cake. Magi even more so, then your average person."

"Now do you wish to speak with it or not? I won't force you."
