In the same general idea as the Treasure and Golems topic, I was thinking it would be cool to be able to create unique armor from items dropped. Lets say I take a couple troll skulls, and throw in 50 rat skulls to create bonemail armor with skulls on the shoulders! I figure clubbing and piercing damage would go right through, but slicing would be reduced greatly. Lets say I take 50 vials of ooze, and throw in 3 yeti pelts to create the fat suit! makes the golem impervious to clubbing damage, but slicing and piercing just go right through. you see? making this stuff would take a LOT of collecting from low level creatures(make it like a 10% chance of one dropping off specific critters, and also a bit of whuppin on the bigger critters(I'm thinking a 1% chance of dropping off specific critters). This way, the high level people would probably just purchase the small items from lowbies for good cash instead of getting it themselves, thus boosting the lowbie economy.Last Edited: Aug 28, 2009, 1:27 am |
