While I know everyone is in a rush to get these golden stars of approval, is it too much to ask that people do not pointlessly throw up referendums and news stories with no real purpose other than get one more point towards an achievement?

It was tolerable for quite a while, but the recent "news" story submitted by "Kenneth" entitled "a" consisting of nothing but someone holding down the a button on their keyboard most certainly pushed me over the edge. Really now. Could whoever mods the newspaper please take that egregious, pointless thing down. It breaks any attempt at finding immersion and lore in a game when people do things like that.

Agreed on the annoyingness. If my forum moderation powers extended to the newspaper, I'd have deleted it the minute I saw it. I think only Kep has the power to edit it, and from what I understand he's rarely around on weekends.

Graaaah! It hurts. It causes physical pain! Just stay away from the paper. Stay away! It reads like a threat, not advice. Anyone reading this will probably know what I'm talking about. And the shameless link! I am one more of these away from busting into a rant.

The guy is in Oasis. If I wasnt anti-pvp, I would have my first target since I started playing, you know, to try and get 25 golems or something....
