As it is said in my clan "Securities and Futures Commission, where we take your security and future seriously." We truly mean this and are now looking to extent this concern to everybody's security and future. In a business trip over to Clan SUPCOR I noticed that magic stays with you as you leave a clan. I am now looking for interest from the other magi from other clans that would like to make use of this knowledge. "We have a spell for every one, even you!" This is also said in my clan. Using the basic idea Xlrate has introduced with alchemy we at SFC are considering doing the same with magic. You join us, cast you spells, donate if you can and jump back you your primary clan and make use of the spell effects your under. All we need for this to happen is a show of interest. Would you, my fellow magi, make use of our research and services? Would it be worth our time and effort to offer this to the public? Let me hear your voice Muelsfell!!! |

The only difference between what I am doing and what you all are doing at SFC is with the type of primary path. That being said, there is the issue of how long you are stuck out of a clan (a week last I checked) when clan hopping. That is generally acceptable to a person when they are jumping for the reason of transmuting hundreds of thousands of one resource to another, because of the large amounts of motivation and time required. I am not so sure on the other hand people are going to be willing to drop their weapon, ranged or item toys for a week to cast a clan spell on themselves though. I love the idea in theory, I am just not sure how practical it will be in reality. |

Actually... I'm thinking this idea is a little shaky, even on theory. After all, it's primary function is to use a third clan tech for combat, despite the multiple prohibitions against doing just that. Xlrate's alchemy is different in that no combat benefits can be retained cross-clan. |

As far as I have seen there is no hold on rejoining clans. I have hopped around quite a few times this week with no problem. And all I need at this point is a show of interest for SFC to open its doors. Also as far as I have noticed is that spells cast on your workshop stick once you leave clan. I have not tested it with spells cast on golems but I don't see why it would be different. Once the spell is cast, the spell is cast. Truth is it will only be practical for the other open clans and the clanless. As for prohibitions, I know of none. Unless they are in game there is nothing the TOS. |

Alright, so let me make sure I understand this. Say I send one of my clan members to SFC and they cast a clan spell on one of their golems. If they came back to my clan, would that spell still be active on the golem? Or do they need to do attacking from SFC with the spell cast, and then re-join my clan? EDIT: After re-reading this thread, is this something that's "ethical" for the lack of a better word? Last Edited: Oct 30, 2009, 3:35 am |

The only ones you get get alot of use from would be Anvil sticky fingers, and other long duration spells. the really nasty ones last only an hour or two. |

Gotchya. An anvil spell would probably be useful if I wanted to start fighting the dragon again, considering my complete and utter lack of weapons right now. Although with the nunchuku pretty soon I may have a chance. Anvil works PvE correct? |

Where if the anvil hit the hand on a golem it only damages that. (And does some minor damage to the HP)the best spells for dragon hunting are the resistance spells. |

As a member of a magic secondary clan with the Anvil, I'd like to note that while offensively the anvil is best for PvE, it IS highly effective for PvP defense, since many magi are not interesting in attacking when it is very likely to lose them parts. |

Eh... Elemental Fury might well be better than anvil for those poor schmucks that lack ranged weapons. We like anvil because it's an extra 90 damage or so at a distance, so we hopefully never have to close. |

different spells are useful at different times. Hence why my clan has many. but Elemental furry is amazing with a melee golem. me gem has gotten 80-100 crits with that spell, plus the other attacks that find their mark. and I use it to farm giant for minimal repairs. |

Want to smite your target from afar, wanna kill a dragon before it can burn you? SFC can do that. Want to avoid PvP, we have magic walls. Feel like Toasting, Freezing, and blasting your opponent at the same time, or defending your self from those same things? We got that too. Heck You can even summon wood golems, and speed your golems up. And those are just the spells, we also give you the option to shoot things up, we only offer bows at this very moment, but in just a few days we will be getting a cannon! We also Have an Item that reduces the range penalties of fighting in forests. We have a friendly and helpful atmosphere, and have one of the largest populations in the game, and you will receive a clan Guard upon joining, and can have your pick from the armory. |

Just reminding everyone that the doors of SFC are still open and our cannons are fully operational. We're looking for more active players to fill our ranks and make use of all of our many spells. |

SFC, If anyone is interested our doors are still open. If there are any questions your best bet is to PM GordonIronsmith, XenoTheMorph, or myself. We still check our accounts regularly although we don't post much anymore. Maybe life will comeback to this game someday. Till then we wait in the shadows. |
