So I attacked this clay golem and managed to knock off it's head and both it's arms and it tells me that it has dropped it's scimitars glass eyes and a bunch of light iron plate. But when I went to the local area to scavenge it, it wasn't there. I think this is the same problem as with the preplaced armour, so the clay golem will get all it's armour back when the pieces are replaced. Now one of the reasons I attacked was to do damage and stealing light plate would be quite effective so I'm kind of miffed about it. I've also just noticed that despite losing her head, the golem still has glass eyes attached?Last Edited: Jun 4, 2008, 1:15 am |

I've notice if you knock off a weapon then any thing else dropped that combat won't show up to scavenge |

the scimatars are clan items so they will magically disappear. Methinks the code is taking the other items with them. |

Hm, I read Panacea's original post last night, but couldn't recreate the problem. However I wasn't using clan weaponry. Thanks for the idea about lost weapons having an effect, this may help me find the problem. Looking into it. Will post when fixed. Kep |

Unfortunately, the problem is proving difficult to find and correct. This might be a good sign; since it's so hard to find it might be a case of a single, easy-to-overlook variable set badly. Or maybe I just need to take a break! Hee. I added in additional logging last night to help track it down. Might take a day or two to build up enough data to be useful. When/if it happens again, please post the golem name, the items involved, and about what time it occurred, and I should be able to gather better data on the problem. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience. Kep |

Similar problem just occurred to me: my golem defeated the giant, but in the process lost its left hand, which was holding a bronze scimitar and had iron studs installed. Neither the scimitar nor the studs were available to scavenge after the battle. This occurred with my Stone Golem Level 3, golem #3855, about 5:40 pm EDT. [added:] One new left hand later, and the studs have reappeared, but the scimitar's still gone. And it didn't show up at Southmount either.Last Edited: Jun 7, 2008, 12:09 am |
