Maybe I am just missing something, but when I try to delete something, it says it is hidden, but still shows up for everyone to see, just with a "hidden" message on it.

Correct behaviour, actually. Just safer to let users only hide stuff rather than perm-delete. :)

Once I get some additional tracking written, there will be an amendment to the nightly "clean up" code that will delete old hidden forum messages.
