Do we know if it has ever been confirmed or not about selling and buying clan items? I don't even want anything huge in numbers available but I think for everyday hunting a spiked chain would be entertaining.

No, clan Items cannot be sold. You are most likely referencing to the fact that there is a monster that drops arrow that can be sold on the market. They look the same as the clan arrow but I guess aren't.

Now to hijack this well named thread I suggest that more clan items/spells/perks/abilities be added to the game. There should be things that a clan can get that draws from both of there focuses, combination skills so to say. Maybe if you have magic you could enchant the other items you make. Transmutation could be used to improve upon your other specialty. Items could enhance weapons.

Am I making sense or is it still to early for me?

I was actually referencing a very old thread where it was asked of the community if we wanted the ability to sell clan items in the future. The community said yes with limitations but I have seen no information from kep in regards to if that was ever actually going to go live anytime in the future.

The main reason I thought the concept had good merit is I would like to own some melee weapons for hunting as I dislike risking clan weapons in fights in PVE. So if I can buy a decent (maybe up to level 5) of another clans items I would be able to say the only equipment I risk is my own.

But clan weapons return to their armory when lost in combat, so long as the golem they're attached to isn't destroyed, so the risk of their loss is pretty slim. Personal items on the other hand are pretty easy to lose.

Yea but I have really really bad luck and I feel a bit like a theif when using ammo to go out and slaughter things unless I actuallu need it for the specific monster.

Well, then just donate to your clan in greater quantity of resources than you use, and be sure the clan armory query is making ammo if you have access to that.
