I attacked a Lvl 5 Addy and a lvl 5 clay today with a lvl 5 handless Iron to wood transmuted golem (repeater dart tube attached to the arm). I received xp for both of these fights but the defenders did not. I am not sure if this was caused by the attacking golem being handless(which should not result in the attacker getting xp and the defender not) or if it is some sort of ECL bug due to being a transmuted golem. Has any one else seen similar results from PVP with a handless or transmuted golem? |

Actually, yes. I didn't really take any note of it at the time but now that you pointed it out: Iron Golem did 2 dmg while his Forsaken Alpha did 280 dmg. The wall took 378 dmg and has fallen 4 levels. You earned 10 xp and Kaelas earned 0 xp. I won't mention the attacker's name, in case they mind, but from what I understand, 'Iron Golem' is a iron to wood transmute. Not sure if it had hands though... And I still have the report if that'll help, for the next ten days or so anyways. |

I got 0 xp vs. Skitz too, but he didn't have his hands. But (@ gordon) are you absolutely sure he had hands, or was it just an arm? If it is because the attacker has no hands, though, then they should really change it so that you only get 0 xp if there's no weapons (Edit: or fists) on your opponent.Last Edited: Mar 9, 2010, 1:36 am |

My instance of this happening had both golems having the ablity to attack and both hands. So.. that might be a cause of this but not the only cause. |
