I had a golem destroyed by Yemeth (watch out by the way) today and the lost items functionality seems to be very broken. Raging did 176 dmg while Yemeth did 1030 dmg. Due to damage, your golem lost its etched crystal focus, heavy iron plate, diamond eyes, heavy iron plate, mercurial dragon scale, ice dragon scale, repeater dart tube and winter slayblade. You earned 10 xp. The list of items lost match the limbs lost in the fight before being destroyed, it is also not a full list of items I had equipped so I know it is a list of items lost due to limb loss before golem destruction. None of the items listed were available to be scavenged, and the clan items are not in the armory. I checked the clan activity log to see if there was an entry for the lost clan items, there was an entry stating the items were returned to the armory. Weapon/Item Update March 15, 2010, 20:55 SkitzYie lost the "Etched Crystal Focus and Repeater Dart Tube" in combat. Apprentices have returned the lost item(s) to the Armoury. Neither item was in the armory and there was no entry stating another clan mate took the items. Not sure if they are supposed to be lost with the clan activity and the loot lost reports being wrong or if the items should be available as the reports state. If they are supposed to be available can we get our clan items back, not worried about my personal items that should have been scavenged. |

I'm pretty sure that if the golem is COMPLETELY destroyed, all items on it are gone, including clan items. If it's just a limb lopped off, the items hop on back to the armoury though. Now, as to why that message popped up is another issue. Did the head get knocked off? (Also, watch out. Yemeth is most certainly no pushover.) Edit1: As a brief question, did Yemeth properly use multiple attacks?Last Edited: Mar 16, 2010, 2:44 am |

No push over is an understatement, I thought Narimassa hurt.... Both attacks were used, Forceful Telekinesis and hellball. The left arm pulls itself free, flips through the air, and finally lodges deeply into the ground! The right arm pulls itself free, flips through the air, and finally lodges deeply into the ground! The head pulls itself free, flips through the air, and finally lodges deeply into the ground! Ribs become deadly bone shrapnel as the chest explodes. Raging is completely destroyed, its parts broken beyond repair or obliterated entirely. I can understand the touched focus crystal on the head not being returned (although the activity page states it was returned) as it was lost in the same round as the golem was destroyed. But the arms with my slayblade and repeater dart tube were lost in rounds before the golem was destroyed. Having those both back would be nice, as one should be in the armory and one should have been available to scavenge (from my understanding and the combat reports) |

Ah, well here' what I believed happened here from my debug experimenting: Limbs, Head off. Signal "Item dropped" tokens. Main body destroyed. Drop all items. Destroy all dropped items. Thus, you get the message stating items are dropped, but having the main body destroyed overrides the drop and replaces with a destroy. At least, that's my understanding of how the destroy code works. |

I think when your golem is destroyed it usually displays a message along the lines of "Without your golem to protect you (insert nasty creature name here) drives you away before you can scavenge anything" ...or something like that. |

Huh, in the past, it's always seemed to me that things do drop when golems are destroyed, just not things that are on the golem at the time of destruction. I know I've scavenged from golems I've blown up... Is this a same-round thing maybe? Or possibly a PvE as opposed to PVP? |

I believe it might be same-round. Things that drop a few rounds before destruction seem okay. |

My slayblade and repeater dart tube should have dropped in that case as the arms were knocked off in a round before the golem was destroyed:( Kep, can you shed some light on the way tis works? |

I don't think I've ever been able to loot anything that got knocked off at any point in the battle when my golem was destroyed. |

Dito. Even if limbs were cut off in earlier rounds, every time all times including clan items were destroyed. |

Have you tried seeing if the items show up on your pulldown to return Clan items? I know we had a bunch of items from destroyed golems that were available there, but not in either the Clan Armoury or personal storage. Just a thought... |
