Atropos said: Two of the titan's three drops weigh in excess of 100 pounds. Kenneth said: there's an eye drop? so how many drops does the tidal guy have in all, or is that it? So 2-3 drops per Elemental perhaps? Maybe more? |

For those with access to gilded lanterns, I'd recommend trying the tide at night. I am taking about 200 damage per fight during the nighttime. I'll continue testing and report back with results. EDIT: Trend seems to be holding up after 11 attacks. Results: Richard C. Mongler did 405 dmg while a forceful tide did 116 dmg. You earned 10 xp. Your golem will be back at your workshop in 1 min 52 sec. Looted: You didn't find any treasure on the forceful tide. Results: Richard C. Mongler did 424 dmg while a forceful tide did 91 dmg. You earned 10 xp. Your golem will be back at your workshop in 1 min 52 sec. Looted: You didn't find any treasure on the forceful tide.Last Edited: Apr 6, 2010, 8:17 pm |

Well the Armoury entry for gilded lanterns says it eliminates the movement penalty and a 15% reduction in combat penalty. Although for what its worth, the text (while still in the Library) says it eliminates both. Still, I'd only count on the 15% reduction. |

Random musing: Maybe the elementals could drop primaries? The earth titian would be a perfect fit for dropping large quantities of stone. The Tide could drop mud (from the ocean/river bed). Hurricane... wood maybe (from trees ripped up and held within). And the Inferno could hold molten iron inside it. Dunno, just a little something between item drops. |

I would like to heartily endorse Kaelas' suggestion. It gets rather disheartening to receive nothing for the vast majority of attacks on the elementals. <3, Shayla |

The titan IS supposed to drop primaries. A whole buncha resources, actually. Are you picking up absolutely nothing or just a really small amount? |

I have also won roughly 25 attacks and gotten...well, nothing at all. I guess I'm just really unlucky if SkitzYie has already gotten 3 shields. |

There has been a lot of talk about the drop weight and carry capacity and I am not sure if there is an absolute consensus. Can you get a item drop with 5 pounds capacity? If not do we know what the rules governing this are as people are getting the 250 pound drop with under 250 carry capacity? Is it a hard programmed variable saying x capacity is needed to get any drop or is it based on the items weight? Does open carry capacity figure into the drop rate (My Earthen hunter is unarmored-365 pound free. My drop rate seems to be decent as I have had 3 in 2 days)? Is this part of the puzzle for us to all figure out, and if it is can we at least get a hint at what the formula is for carry capacity vs. item weight? By the way, good job with these recent creatures. Yemeth seems to still be untouchable for the most part, Nari hurts but we have it figured out (now the loot part is frustrating but it's part of my above questions), the Titans seem like a good mix and they have been very enjoyable to figure out. The earth guy may be too easy as I can hit him with no armor and take no damage, but the other three are hitting me hard. So while ranged may be great against the one, it's pretty worthless against the other three and Nari. Just wanted to say good job Atropos. Thank you, ~Skitz |

Earthen Titan: Drops TBD: Great Earthen Manifold Always: None Common: None Less Common: None Uncommon:None Rare: None Ultra-rare:None ^ Nobody's found anything regularly, or if they have they've not mentioned it in this thread, via PM, or edited it into the wiki itself. In fact, "Always" defaults to saying "coins" - these are listed as being in the small group of monsters that don't drop coins. |

This is actually a bug then. The titan has a guaranteed drop of primaries, and a sizeable amount of secondaries. I'll try investigating this one further. (Yes, ranged is the way to defeat the titan. I mentioned something like this, no? ^^) |

The focusing Mist wiki entry has been updated with stats :) Unfortunately I did not receive the drop, but a clanny did. 20% 5 pounds 1 slot fits on the abdomen |

Woot, first try after the mysterious downtime earlier today: You found the giant earthen manifold, 3400 balls of stone and 3400 urns of clay. Edit: And the second try-You found 3400 plates of bronze, 3400 rods of iron, 3400 balls of stone and 3400 urns of clay. Almost enough to pay for the repair bill :P I'm sure those ranged clans will love it though.Last Edited: Apr 7, 2010, 9:19 pm |

Don't suppose we could get approximate drop rates on the items? <5%, 25%+, somewhere in between? |

and yes, all of the elementals have trophies Do you have their names for the wiki? Consider it not a crap roll but a challenge - you're the only one with trophy info the wiki needs |

Very nice! Glad I shared my random musings. You found 8543 rods of iron, 8543 balls of stone and 8543 urns of clay. Much nicer than: 'You found nada.' Also, not sure if this was on purpose, but clay5 have just enough hp and resist to have 1hp left after a single critical hit by the giant fists. This is very handy. |

When you put things into the wiki, please put raw data on the "discussion" page (there's a tab up at the top of the page) - we want the actual page itself to look tidy. |

just noticed- shouldn't it be "towering inferno"? Infernal is an adjective. |

HalfteaPosts: 1307 Location: Darghelm Magus Age: 139 years old Clan: ADV | Message #43561 Posted: Apr 11, 2010, 11:58 pm |
It can be used as a noun, as I think it is in this case. English is kinda handy that way. Or frustrating, depends on your point of view I guess. I took it as a creature called an Infernal, since an inferno doesn't necessarily imply a creature. |

It's been in the wiki (which appears to be down atm) for a day or so since someone PM'd me the info. Interesting that the power goes in the head - someone mentioned the new eyes fitting into the abdomen as well, though I don't have all the info on that. |
