New creatures! :D

The Giant Widow, Lvl 9 located in Yul's Marsh
Marsh Dragon, Lvl 10, located in the Upper Zaulfung

Caerula the Frost Dragon, Lvl 16, located in the Icerush
Eithne the Song Dragon, Lvl 16, located in the Southern Barricades
Akhenaten the Enigmatic Drgon, Lvl 17, located in the Vastings
Gwendolyn the Mercurial Dragon, Lvl 18, located in the Ironwood

And, um.

Oiled-up Sissel the Fairy Dragon, Lvl 2, located in Mount Kestrel

A word of warning: The high level dragons are VERY tough to defeat and do a lot more damage than lower level creatures. You're almost certainly going to need the aid of spells and clan items (in fact, I'd be very surprised if folks are able to defeat them without spells or clan items).

Enjoy!

Kep

PS - Dragon-related achievements are in the works, too.

I defeated Caerula the Frost Dragon and got me self some ice cream :) I did 260 in 5 round she did 700... yes it was ouch. But on a side note I killed her with my golem Purge who does not have a single clan upgrade and I only used Burning aura. So it is possible to defeat her with out clan upgrades, just expect too lose a lot of parts and a lot of resources. on a side note she dropped 500 of each rare resource and 8+ moti

By the way, I'm going to remove named (or non-unique) creatures from The World is My Zoo achivement. That'll probably go live on Monday.

just went a few rounds with caerula (ouch!)

yeah, that ice cream was good; excellent in fact. if i ever get knocked up, that frigid b*tch is going to be in some serious trouble; but until then, i think that i'll stick to less demanding pursuits...like whacking wraiths. :-)

Well... it's by no means cost effective but.. I couldn't turn down the challenge. I done killed Caerula without Clan items or spells of any kind. I do not recommend it.

Alpha 2.0 did 260 dmg while Caerula the Frost Dragon did 297 dmg.

Your golem will be back at your workshop in 2 min 37 sec.
Looted: You found 1051 gold coins, 401 plates of bronze, 859 pouches of gems and 918 nuggets of adamantine.

Side note- the minimum loot feature seems to work for me.

Ya I really don't have anything I can give my copper golem from my clan that will help any, because burning aura is way more effective then any other spell for him (It completely by-passes any resistances she has to fire.) Though I'd like to know what kinda of damage she does. Like How much frost versus slash and what not.

Finally beat that song slinger, but got (hopefully?) loot bugged
Results: Maestro did 226 dmg while Eithne the Song Dragon did 310 dmg.

You earned 10 xp.

Your golem will be back at your workshop in 4 min 30 sec.
Looted: You found 129 gold coins, 129 bars of gold and 129 bars of silver.

It might be buggy. When I beat Eithne, she gave me ~1k coins, and ~500 each of gold and silver. Had around 100lb spare carry capacity though.

I found a name error for one of the creatures.

The lvl 4 Monsterous Bat in Spire Valley is listed as a lvl 4 Giant Bat on the first page of this thread.

I'll just copy and paste the post I made in our forum. I did some looking around on the map.

Well then, we have the Fire Dragon over in the Talonwood aaaannnd, our friend Harryhausen finally had some of his work added into the game. The Platygon Hatchling is over in Yul's Marsh.

In Arbrook Forest we have The Jabberwock (awesome).

The Grey Goblin War Chariot is now in Old Forge Mountain, that place is packed now.

The Kobold Boss in Spire Valley.

Don, maybe you can confirm this, there appears to be 3 new creatures all at once in Scrie Point:
Kobold Sergeant, Kobold Raider, and the Kobold War Machine.

So yeah, wow, someone has been busy.

Thank you, Phats. All those are now in the library (Nanashi actually bugged me in chat and pointed them out), in addition to a new article about Kobold culture (under Kobold) based on the explosion of information about Kobolds in the game.

I can confirm the three new creatures in Scrie point. A veritable Kobold army in the making.

In addition to the Kobold Boss, Spire Valley also gained the level 2 Kobold Miner. Trust me, it wasn't there before :)

In Yul's Marsh, there's a Platygon Hatchling that should look something like this [i39.photobucket.com/albums/e176/jehubuddaka/PlatygonHatchli ng.png]

Level 13 Chomps and 200hp

Looks like a couple more new critters snuck in over the weekend:
Dark Kobold High Arcanist & Dark Kobold Stalker on the Southmount, maybe there're more I haven't noticed yet? According to a clannie who actually fought them (I haven't), the Stalker drops iron sometimes.

Alongside those, in the Southmount foothills we gained the Dark Kobold Sorcerer (Lv 3), Dark Kobold Mage (Lv 6), and the Dark Kobold Godslayer (Lv 13).

In the Miners Belt we have the Redcap Prodigy (Lv 5 ) and the Grey Goblin Raider (Lv 7) though that last one could have been there earlier and I just missed it.

That's all I saw as new additions.

edits: Upon reflection and looking over the creature descriptions again, maybe the wiki should differentiate between Kobolds and Dark Kobolds if it doesn't already. (can't access it from where I am atm to check.)

Are they indicated as being a separate tribe? If so, I can create a new lore page for them.

That's a tough call, but I think they actually are. The ones that seems to tip it for me is this one from the Dark Kobold Stalker entry
Like all other magic-using races, the dark kobolds have developed their own methods of golem production.
and the entry for the DK Sorcerer
A dark kobold that has mastered his art to the point that he is actually doing more harm to his tribe's enemies than himself...
Which seems to imply Dark Kobolds are a seperate tribe than regular Kobolds. All of the other entries seem to lead that way without calling it out so clearly. The one exception is the DK Mage description which implies regular Kobold. Perhaps that is a typo in the description if they are in fact a seperate tribe.

The wiki has the new dragon and the new kobolds that go with it - can someone confirm what the other new creatures are? I believe we're a tad short on the numbers still.
