I need a good strategy to kill the Blood Spectre before it can kill me for the Big Game Hunter achievement. |

I use ranged attacks to take it out. It does hit pretty hard though. I recommend either hitting it outside its own range, or getting in close and hitting hard and often. Probably with a Clay golem to overcome the marsh effect. Or a spell to do the same if you have it. |

IMO you should go over to an open ranged clan. It's much easier to get this achievement using ranged. Also, in response to your question: stick with the clay5, as you won't suffer the movement penalty due to the swamp. |

also clay golems, we've recently discovered, are FAR more accurate than any other type. Flesh are the least, with everything else only a few percentage points from each other. |

along those lines, do you know if a former clay golem retains that accuracy, or if it is adnerent to the current form? |

I don't have the means to test that. ETA: If you're interested in joining the project, by the way, I can help you get the tools we use up and running and explain how to do the tests. That goes for anyone, by the way. We just kinda figure we're the only ones geeky enough to be doing this sort of thing, but we're always looking for more helpLast Edited: Apr 25, 2010, 6:00 am |

Cererus isn't melee specialization, Viktor. @Drackmore: looks to me like you're either going to have to switch a clan or wait until you get access to the elemental blast spells. |

Hey Drack, I think I recall a build being posted in the Cererus forms for the Blood Specter while I was in the clan. You may want to dig in there if things weren't shaken up at all with the forms and change of leadership. |
