I received the following message from defeating the Earthen Titan:

You found the , 7865 rods of iron, 7865 balls of stone and 7865 urns of clay.

Note the first item - it should be (probably) the Titan's mystery third drop, but I don't have anything new at all in my storage bin, meaning the drop is bugged and I got cheated out of my drop.

I just received that as well:

Results:
Sequoia did 912 dmg while an earthen titan did 0 dmg.

You earned 10 xp.

Looted:
You found the , 12155 rods of iron, 12155 balls of stone and 12155 urns of clay.

I couldn't find anything new in my storage, and nothing came up when I sorted on "Creature Trophy".

Have we heard anything about this yet?

It is an item in the treasure table that has not yet been flagged as live.

Of course now I'm curious. Once it gets flagged as 'live', does it then show up in their basements?

If it's anything like the fruit that Jet Wang failed to drop when he first showed up, no, it won't magically appear.
