First post concerns the Toadlin Snotter in Yul's Marsh. Isn't 200 hp a little high for a level 8? Since then you see the level 9 at 125 then back up to 200 for the level 11 and 13. |

Halftea, It depends. Don't judge creatures based on only two criteria (level and hitpoints in this case). A high hitpoint creature may have below average (for that level) attack and/or defense attributes. It may also lack significant special abilites or even have low endurance or accuracy. NPCs such as myself may need higher attributes in certain key areas to offset exploitable weaknesses. At the end of the day, thing should balance out. Hope this explains things. P.S. Love your cinnamon and sugar cookies. |

Caerula, Thank you for your glowing compliment on my cookies. I'll have a golem deliver some more soonest. Upon further testing, it does appear that the Snotter does indeed go down much easier than other level 8's and inflicts less damage. Not to say it doesn't hit hard - that bugger is strong! So this combo of high hitpoints and mid-level is certainly appropriate. My initial report was based only on a preliminary scan of the levels, and I thought a possible miscoding of the actual hitpoints might have occurred. |
