I suggest that the SM's of clans should have the option of taking items/spells/whatever for a test run before add the feature to there clan. This would happen in a test area of course. I like the hall of forgetfulness but it still sucks to make blind choices.

how and where would they test the item/spell/ect. like against a training golem or against some local enemy?
