I though I read somewhere that only the highest value is used, I could easily be wrong however. But to add to the question, how are a shield's effects added to an addy golem? |

That was what I was thinking was the case but I couldn't remember. I know that the Addy bonus does not stack, or everyone would have an addy golem with an earthen manifold, and have an almost unbeatable guard (85% melee block chance). Another question does the Addy golem get to 40% block against ranged as well as melee. Note I'm also pretty sure the Addy only gets the bonus when defending. |

Linear stacking isn't likely, even if stacking happens, which it might well. Much more likely would be multiplicative stacking, .55*.6=.33, or only a 67% chance of blocking, which is still pretty good, but considering the manifold's weight, wouldn't leave much room for armour. I also think the Addy block is only against melee, although I'd admit that I haven't tried it in ages. |
