Hi.

I'm just trying the game out now and it certainly looks fun. In.

i tried it briefly about three years ago, but then it didn't have clans or a lot of combat options, or the stuff about achievements either, not to mention far fewer monsters, so I'm looking forward to finding out about the game.

there are a couple of things I'm wondering though which don't appear to be covered in the help pages and perhaps someone can advise me.

Firstly fishing!

It's mentioned in the faq and in the resource list, but I can't find anywhere to do it, sinse the city of jaaron has a note about it being outlawed or similar. Is it actually implemented in the game?

Then, as regards achievements, quests and clans.

I was wondering if there is a way to find out about achievements and other things to perform in the game, apart from building golems. Will I find things while hunting the map?

If there are any clans who are less warlike and might considder a member who probably doesn't plan on huge amounts of magus bashing but would enjoy hunting, building and exploration, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Ah, if only you'd stuck with playing those many moons ago.

Unfortunately, the game is all but dead. People have gone on to more amusing things, due to there being no updates for about a year, our game creator Ark having been silent since about christmas...

But, if you don't mind the quiet, there are many things to do.

Except fishing, it was never implemented.

Sad indeed.

I actually had to contact the creator for some rejiggerment of the account, and he did indicate something of the like.

one other job I have is reviewing the game for www.audiogames.net a site that offers an index of games for people with no eyeballs installed (I blame the Magus), so hopefully that will result in some new players.

The news shows last update was last christmas, I'm surprised people are so fickle, myself I'd wait at least a year before giving up on a game like this.

If you don't mind another noob question, is there a way to see trades in the markit?

I've got 97 gems, and currently cash would probably be more useful to me, however when I stick gems into the box to see what's being asked nothing comes up, ---- in fact when I stick "all" and "all" into the boxes nothing comes up!

Am I doing something wrong, or are there just very few markit offers.

Should I make one just to check?

There are very few offers at the moment. Looks like a single offer of money for iron currently. Them's the breaks of a diminished playerbase sadly.

A shame, though I've posted links on audiogames.net and another vi gaming list, so hopefully we should at least get some new players, maybe that'll incourage the creator to update the game, sinse it has great potential, particularly as systems like trading look to be such a good idea.

surprisingly there are a few of us still around lurking in the undergrowth waiting for something to happen. :)

I've sent you an invite to our clan - Tench Kisaragi Heavy Industries. we're non-pvp, although not sure any one is PVPing at the moment any way, but if the game does pick up it's as good as any place to start. We still have 7 semi active players still saving for that next library level.

Ah, nice to know someone is stil around, especially sinse I've been trying to persuade others into trying the game too.

I'll be glad to give the clan a try, I've actually been wanting to try out item creation with clans especially sinse I keep getting things like Gems which I can't otherwise use.

What's up my fellow pumpkinHad!
No eyes and barely anything else keeping me together. But I still manage to roll my way through. :)

I'm AC from the Entombed and used to be on the Audyssey mailing list, but I haven't checked in with them in years.

I have been on here since probably the day you left. I believe you introduced me and others to it via the Audyssey list.

Well my clan seems to have abandoned me, but I kinda like it. They were getting to be a pest anyway.
The masters had me and others just slaving away. :)
So now that's all I do, slave away at work.

I'm too ashamed to knock on anyone in my clan's door because I would probably feel foolish to learn that my family has been living next dorr, across the street, and even more embarrassing, upstairs the whole time, and I didn't even know it. :)
Oh well, I still have the memories of what we did back then while saving the sinners and fighting the evils. :)
I'll just stay a loner on this here corner and be satisfied with the occasional donation and glimpse at the naughty nuns and prostitute, which are begining to look similar if you ask me but don't tell the master I said that.
Well gotta go. I'm starting to feel depressed again. I need some wine.

Speak with ya later brother.
Praise to the Almighty Father!

Well hello, though I'm not sure about the pumpkin head thing.

Hopefuly some fo the promotion i've done around the game should get some new players, sinse it'd be nice to see a ful markit and lots of people hagning around.

Btw, speaking of the markit, why can't I get a generaal display? when I select all in both search catagories I'm told that there are no offers, even when I make an offer myself.

Am I missing something?

Hi, Simril.

Because of the severely diminished player base, there are few if any offers in the market on a given day. Like masterslug said, you can't see offers that you posted unless you are looking at your own stall.

You can message me and I will be happy to send you resources to help you build, though there isn't much of a race anymore. I have been playing sporadically of late, but I will try to check in more regularly.
