to make this idea more fun if Kep(i thin i typed it correct)will try to work on it make this more effective right nwo form what i have studied i could take a brass golem chest and put 1 flesh arm 1 iron arm a bone hand a addamite hand and a wood head and a glass foot etc... and the ugly golem would still be a brass golem ok i understand the chest making ita class and all but cn you make it depends o nwhat they are for attacking like say 1 hand is brass so they do the sound dmg effect and the other hand is copper (or what ever does the fire dmg) and it does fire dmg on hit understand?

Also like say each body part has its own effect defensive or offensive toward the corresponding abilities like say brass has the high sound defense so the hand i mentioned earlier would have high sound defense but say the other hand the copper hand or what ever would take more dmg(damage) from sound

Also i would like to see in stats of the golem to show the weight as well so i can see how each thing effects the weight and stuff so say i choose glass torso to have a fast golem then add in iro stuff or something heavy it'll effect your weight stat and the speed(weight stat will just be how much the golem weights as well as the effect of speed like what you have set up

When working on your golems you should be able to remove any piece you have put on it with out salvaging it

while this makes sense, if this were to happen everything would just be reversed.

people would start making iron chests with brass hands and get the same effect as what is happening now, only it would be a lot easier.

The way they're doing it now is a golem's damage, speed, strength, carrying capacity and attack energy cost (a hidden statistic) is all based on the golem's chest. Whereas the HP of each individual part and it's resistances are based on the type of material the part is made of.

Precisely. You make the brass chest, and no matter what limbs you have attached anywhere else, it still attacks with sonic damage, moves at 15ft speed, and has the set energy drain per attack and carry capacity. The limbs will not change this.
