I am unsure if this is intentional or not, but I believe it bears mentioning. A clan mate transferred a golem to me to dismantle. The golem appeared in my basement but had two items attached to it (eyes and animating spirit, specifically). When I went to remove the items in order to dismantle the golem and send the resources back, I was unable to to do so because "That item does not belong to you." If a golem is transferred with items attached, shouldn't the items also become property of the recipient of the golem, thus allowing them to be moved? Or, perhaps, are golems not intended to be transferred with items attached? Just curious. More of an inconvenience than a problem. |

Yeah. Orphaned items are just starting to be a problem for me. I've given at least a third of my clan depot access, and some of the better golems trade hands a lot, and every now and then they pick up a piece of equipment along the way. A week later, I go to strip a golem, and there are three peices of armor and a sword I can't find the owner of. It doesn't even tell you who they belong to. So, I would first really like it if you could unequip the items strait into your inventory. Baring that, let you unequip them into their owners inventory. Baring that, make the error message tell you who the item belongs to. |

I wrote it that way because I was concerned about the possibility of abuse. After thinking about it for awhile, I may have been overreacting a bit. I'll think about it a bit more, but I will likely make it so that all items on the golem become property of the new owner when they take it from the clan. Kep |

I believe it's a good idea to implement that change. If misunderstanding or abuse is a problem, maybe a warning in the transfer office is in order, stating that any property transferred with a golem becomes the property of the recipient. Just a thought anyway. |

Yeah, a warning was exactly what I was thinking of doing. Kep |

That'd be helpful. As is, there was a nasty situation where the Iron Golem makers were sticking Aemaeth Parchment to the Iron Golems they made, which nobody else could touch or do anything to, even to upgrade them to better power sources. Furthermore, attaching armor to a golem would only exacerbate the situation. |

This has been fixed. There are two key points where the items are updated: 1) When a golem is transferred, 2) When a golem is given from the clan to a magus. If you've got a problem golem, you'll need to either transfer it or donate it back to the clan and then give back to yourself to "reset" the items properly. Please let me know if there are any other problems. Kep |
