A few things. Now i don't know what the stats are for bronze and brass, but a copper golem has the stats of a flesh golem (Save for hp and defense, which are at a clay level).

A flesh. Im not expecting adamant level strength here, but more than flesh would be nice for having to pay 75k iron for the torso alone.

The second point: as far as i can tell resources are categorized in order of increasing strength. bone is stronger than flesh, wood stronger than bone ect. By this logic, copper should be the cheapest of the three secondaries to make, yet it is actually the most expensive. Is this on purpose? Reasoning behind this? Just giving a little feedback here.

You overlooked the fire damage. :)

Bronze, brass, and copper all do significant amounts of cold, sonic, and fire damage, respectively. They also have very high resistance to those types of damage (and only slightly less damage resistance in general than an iron). These were intended to be very specialized golems, designed to excel at their damage speciality rather than be all purpose golems.

The strength and capacity were incorrect on the one you made, incidently, but I've fixed that just now.

That said, I've been focusing on getting the primary golem types better with respect to one another and ignoring the secondary types. Except for adamantine -- which is a monster in offense and defense -- all of the secondaries will need tweakage. Especially once alternative methods of obtaining the secondary resources are introduced.

Do you think golem stats should list how much damage they do? everyone just looks at a chart and sees the resistances, but not things like motivation costs, relative levels, and damage done. eventually players will figure these things out and post them anyway.

Yeppers, I just hadn't updated the table on the help pages yet.

I have an admin version which makes for a lot clearer comparison of the types. I'll likely make the player version much closer to the admin version, and include damage capability, motivation cost, etc.

Main reason this hasn't been done already is because the stats were still being actively tweaked up to the point that the level 2 critters were introduced.
