Haven't figured this out from the documentation: Do things in the queue continue counting down after you start a Job? It makes sense they don't; Jobs represent your full attention. If so, it makes sense to add Jobs to the queue and have them start once everything else finishes. And provide a confirm button with the total completion time. (i.e. 2:30 hours in queue + 5 hour Job = 7:30 hours until job completion.) Rylen |

I've noticed that once you start your build or research queues, it doesn't matter if you are at a job. I guess being a magus means you have loyal minions/subcontractors working on these, or something. :) |

Perhaps your golems back at the workshop are doing the construction. |

It's hired help, hence the gold coin costs. Though if you prefer to think of it as your golems, that works, too. :) There are quite a few things in game that you can't strictly logic out because they work as they do for gameplay purposes rather than "in character." I didn't want to restrict jobs based on what was going on in the workshop; if you haven't seen it yet, some of the buildings later on take a long time to construct. It'd be annoying if you couldn't work until the building was done. Kep |

Works for me. Just wanted to get it straight. Can I research and artifice while jobbing, too? |

As far as I can tell everything can be researched when jobbing. |

I know I've had all three queues (research, building, artificing) going while jobbing once. So if you have the resources, go for it! Speaking of which, does anyone know if you lose anything you were artificing (I really hope thats a word) if your workshop gets hit? I guess the same question would apply to research or construction, although I think if buildings get damaged, that would kind of imply no additional construction. |
