While I appreciate all the little snippets of world info in the various cities and the map interface, is there a timetable yet for a greater backgroud on the world of Muelsfell before the full release? I can see you have set up where links for more details on regions/countires but I was thinking of the world as a whole... |

There's no timetable or schedule for putting it on the help pages, but I do have the history/timeline written out. It's actually pretty involved, so I'll probably have to put it up in multiple pages or something. I hadn't focused on it yet (beyond what's in the individual areas) since I figured new players were more keen on smashing stuff with golems. :D Ideally it'll be up by the time the game comes out of beta, but I have quite a few things on the to-do list. Cool! I sorta figured you had to have it, being the creator and all. I guess I'll just wait for all of that to become public then. While smashing stuff is fun, I admit, I'm a role-player at heart, so detailed backgrounds just make everything more enjoyable. I'd wait with baited breath, but blue has never been a particularly good skin color on me. XD |

Ok, another background question, as of this posting I've noticed we are now 6 years, 12 months and 2 days since the collapse of the Agoroshian Magus Cabal. I haven't been paying too much attention to dates so far, but I guess this means Muelsfell runs on a 13 month year? And how many days per month? Are they variable like in the real world? |

I put together the calendar once. Each month has a first-fourth: St Belin's Day Hymnsday Erisday Midsweek Irensday Fiensday Khurday Then there are thirteen months Snowell's Dawn (Early Winter) Andulaz (Mid Winter) Laria (Late Winter) Dosensel (Early Spring) Ceville (Mid Spring) Maenslull (Late Spring) Jinnmal (Early summer) Bride's Gloom (Mid summer) Stoch (Late Summer) Satin Rest (Summer's Breach) Ollensfaire (Early Fall) Trotokia (Mid Fall) Arnilla (Late Fall) Then, each day is 4 hours, making the whole year take two months. So, the AMC collapsed on March 14th '07 (around midnight?) If it's just like I described, every real year we'll get six in game years, and have a day left over. If there's a day hidden in there that I didn't notice (Like a special New Years calibration day) then it will match up perfectly with our year. Only question I have left is... What does 'Summer's Breach' mean? O_o |

Cool! Thanks for that work. Maybe it should read 'Summer's Breech' as that could mean the end of summer. Kind of a stretch from the middle English, but I could see it... |

What does 'Summer's Breach' mean? I'm used to a breach being a break in a wall. But if we look at "Summer's breach" as the point when summer breaks apart, letting the cold air of winter start to leak in... |
