Well, it's pretty obvious from the title but:
I recentlyish (as in within the past 3 days) sent a message to someone in my clan. Then tonight, as I was trying to write a message to another person (and planning on quoting from the other) I couldn't find it in sent messages. However, other *older* sent messages are in sent.
Then I started wondering whether the first message ever got sent. Not sure what to do, (it was a reminder about something, and I don't really want to pester the original sendee with it again if ze already got it).

| Messages stick around in your sent box for as long as the recipient keeps them in their inbox. They ARE sent, but your right it makes it a bit of a pain to keep track of sent messages, or quote them. |

This wasn't actually a bug, but more a quirk of how the messaging system stores the messages.
I've made some tweaks, so now messages deleted by the recipient still show up in the sender's "sent" list.

| Now maybe an option to delete some of those messages in the sent list? They seem to be keeping me from receiving any new mails. |

Hmm, shouldn't stop you from receiving new... It's supposed to ignore sent messages and only count those you've received towards the limit of the mailbox.

Well maybe some of that is from transitioning off paid days right before clan messaging went into effect. The drop from 50 to 30 messages could be a factor.
Mail stats are 5 messages in my inbox (which shows as full), and 11 in my archive of which I deleted some of those yesterday, but they showed back up again today. Strange that.
I do have 43 messages currently in the sent items folder which is why I figured that is messing things up.
Nothing serious, and I'll hold off going back to paid status for 2-3 days so you can check the coding with a live example. :)
edit: Well, I seem to be receiving Clan emails at least. It just shows as FULL all the other times. In which case it's probably just a display counter bug.Last Edited: Jul 5, 2008, 12:33 am |

| Along the same lines, I am having trouble getting messages to send...this morning when I tried to reply to a message, 3 times in a row I hit send message and it instead brought up a blank message. When I wrote the message in a new message instead of trying to reply it finally sent. |
