Firstly, I'd like to state what this thread is for, Its to list the current 'reasonable' price of sales in the marketplace, So buyers don't buy overpriced goods and sellers don't sell too cheaply Yes, This is a thread so the 'newbs' with no idea about the value of gold don't get cheated too quickly =P Sadly, I can't make the price decisions nor force people to abide by whats listed here. Its just to give new buyers and sellers an idea of appropriate amounts to spend. So, I'd like people to come in an tell us their ideas of reasonable offers in the marketplace for both buyers and sellers. - Also, This thread will be rather disorganized until the much anticipated 'edit' button feature is eventually added. No, I am not implying something - (PS, It seemed like a good idea at the time, Which when feeling like collapsing onto my bed, Might not be the best time) Price Ranges Primary Resources Range from 10:1 to 1:1, In favor of money of course, So 10 stone is worth 1 gold, up to 10 gold, depending on who's selling and if the buyer is desperate enough. Premium tickets apparently sell for is 75 tickets for 10,000 money and down, The average price I've seen is 2000 but someone has posted selling 75tickets for 10,000 money O.o These items were posted by another user, May have changed in recent times clay tablet -------------------------- 1000 coins alchemical heatstone ----------------- 1500 coins alchemical icestone ------------------ 2500 coins alchemical acidstone ----------------- 3500 coins alchemical voidstone ----------------- 5000 coins hazy bottle eyes --------------------- 25 coins cyclopean eye ------------------------ 200 coins polished eyes ------------------------ 500 coins glass eyes --------------------------- 1000 coins crystal eyes ------------------------- 1300 coins Aemaeth Parchment Strip: Worth-Nothing, Free to Make Except a small bit of timeLast Edited: Apr 14, 2008, 8:33 pm |

flesh has been going for 2-1 for coins. others about 3-1 for coins. I don't really think we need to do this, the market will set the prices. Even if people overpay when they are noobs, the cycle will repeat itself, and they'll be able to sell to other people. If more people start offering up resources, the price will go down, but as it stands now...people are paying those prices willingly and quickly. |

Mmm, Like I said it seemed like a good idea at the time =P I've actually been selling primary resources at roughly 7:1 >.> *none* of my marketplace offers have expired yet xD This thread isn't meant to limit people, just give a general idea of average prices. |

what I did to figure out the market price was to put up 1000 flesh at: 250 money 350 money 500 money 650 money 750 money The 1000:750 gets bought about half the time, and expires the other half everything below that gets pretty much gobbled up. |

that's because all a n00b has is a fleshie and hasn't built anything that costs real money. The need to repair the bugger and the poor impression of the general availability of money equals a skewed economy for that commodity. :( Also means that with a little work, one can generally make 750 gold every two hours at level 2. :) |

Sleep optional - it is a fire and forget process anyway. Now on the subject of Gems - someone please explain to me what the frell is its value? One offer out there, 100 gems for 300 gold. Ok, good ration (exactly per above). Or 50 of them for crystal eyes. Other offers for an alchemical voidstone or an entire stone golem. Is there some desperate value inherent in gems to higher level maji that drives this economy? If I am sitting on a bunch of them, would it be better to bank them or to sell them and get the cash? |

i really dont know. i usually snap on the cheaper ones since im making a coopper golem right now, but the only value in gems is the ability to make secondary resources. |

Currently I don't care too much for the secondary resources (besides money), I sell gems at a 1:1 Ratio, But only in mass Theres a *lot* of absurd offers in the marketplace right now, which is one of the reasons I made this thread |

Question to anyone. Where would you put premium ticket prices at? And I mean at 75 tickets (30 days worth) out into the marketplace at what prices. |

Gems are also used to create the higher level of eyes. I use 500 gems to create a set of Emerald Eyes (+14% accuracy) and I assume that the Ruby and Diamond Eyes require even more. |

... Doing my part to drive down the price of resources - inflation was stagnating the flow of money (though you profiteers know who you are) |

As far as premium tickets go I havent seen anyone else selling them and I sold 75 for 10000 once already so I'm sticking at that. If they start to appear for less I'll conside dropping price but dont see why I should when I'm the only person selling at the moment. |
