I've revised the navigation bar and removed the middle "grey" bar to minimize confusion about the hierarchy of the links. The content/linkage of the middle bar is now available in drop-downs from the Workshop and World topics.

This way, you can jump to any particular structure in your workshop without having to first click workshop... and likewise on the world links.

Works fine in Firefox and IE7/IE6. I don't think the navigation bar displays properly in Safari. Let me know if you have issues!

personally I like the old way better because it laid out all your options right there, and you could cycle through them and make sure everything was in order.

Now the with dropdown menues it feels a lot slower to navigate around, and I feel like I might miss something.

I agree with Gryfter on this one. Customable option maybe?

I still have the old code as backup. I'll plan to readd it as a toggle option (from the profile page). The current one however will be default for new players. :)

Don't like the drop downs. It's slower and a turn off.

You could be redundant. Have the drop downs to access from anywhere. But when I'm in the workshop, I want to just hit 'artificer' instead of 'workshop-artificer'.

----
Side note -- given the game, your spell checker needs to recognize 'golem'. (Or is it mine? Firefox 2.0.0.3)

I'm pretty certain the spell check on 'golem' is just Firefox being ignorant.

I've noticed that the drop downs hide behind my notes about half the time... which means (while drop downs don't normally bother me) I find them annoying and hard to navigate with.

The spellchecker is not due to Muelsfell. It must be a browser thing. :)

I've put in a profile option so those of you who prefer the grey bar navigation can choose that one. Both versions are now centered better, too. I've tested in in Firefox, IE7 and IE6 and it seems to be working fine. If you're having display issues, make sure your browser isn't caching the old stuff!

Also fixed the notes issue that Tallis pointed out.

You can add that word to your dictionary.

I like the drop down menus, but the game over-all has significantly slowed since their implementation. Specifically screen load times.
