I am level 2 and I have a level 2 iron golem. I was using my flesh golem in my local area killing the level 1 Spined Rat and was doing fine collecting resources and experience. Now that I upgraded to my level 2 iron golem, I don’t seem to be gaining any experience from fighting the level 1 Spinded Rat nor the level 2 Ambulatory Mushroom, nor even the level 5 Six-eyed Lurker; all three are in my local area. Now I have tried to go to another area to fight something different, but I can’t seem to figure out how to access another area in the map’s local area to fight those monsters. Any advice would be welcome. |

you need to get the compass from the market. that will allow you to move around. a level 1 iron is effective level 6, so you need to fight something 5 or higher to get xp. Also, it's not the best strategy for leveling up. Stick with using your flesh, but put iron parts on it as they get knocked off, and send your flesh (get some armor for the chest) agaisnt level 4s. That will give you 9 xp per time, but you won't get any resources. |

You know, I really don't like this persistent claim that a level one flesh is effective level 1 and you work up from there. A level one flesh is level 2, one for flesh, and one for being level one. That's why you only get 3 XP against a level one monster with your basic fleshy, because the monster is an actual level one and you're using a level 2. So, your level 1 iron is effective level 7. yeah, I guess different wording. I've always just said that creatures (as opposed to people) count as -1 level. I suppose your way makes more sense. |
