So, I'm not sure when people can start attacking me, but I'm pretty sure it's soon...

What's the detail on the hidden room? Does it protect X number of resources where X is total number of resources protected, or the number of each resource protected?

Does it protect secondary resources as well as primary resources?

If it protects x number of resources total, is there any way to specify which resources I'd like to protect?

Also, is gold a resource? (i.e. is it protected in the hidden room?)

The hidden room should protect X amount of resources for each type of resource. For example, if it protects 2000, it should protect 2000 of iron, 2000 of stone, 2000 of money, etc.

what about the secondary rescources (gems, glass etc.)? Also, exactly how long is the protection period?

Yup, it protects secondaries as well. There is no limit -- as long as the hidden room is constructed and doesn't get knocked down, it protects.

The protection period of players is seven days, reaching a score of 500 points, or gaining 100 xp, whichever comes first.

This probably should be clearly outlined on the help pages... [jots note]

Score of 500 points seems high to me. I would think 200 points of score would be more inline with 100 xp.

Thanks for the clarification of " newbie protection".

Keep it up

if you have over 500 points and under 100 xp - you must have some generous friends ;)

Hmm...this would explain why you never get secondary resources when you raid, since they are always at a much lower level than primaries I think the Hidden room should be tweaked.

1000 per level is fine for primary resources,

but it should be more like 100-200 per level for secondary

and maybe 500 per level for money.

Raiding right now is often pointless, as a lot of us have more than enough primary resources and not enough money. Being able to raid secondary resources and money more often would help a lot.

Gryficus, you could always raid for resources to sell. Keep hitting very low resources myself building, so a raid or two helps me tremendously. Any extra stuff I get (bone usually) goes into the market.

I am constantly selling my own resources on the market as it is.

The problem is that resources grow much much faster than money. I never have the cash component of a building before I have the resources to build it.

Right now, there's really no incentive to me to raid others workshops because I can't ever get money (I assume most people always have more resources than money as well), and you never get secondary resources.

Making those two things more available when you raid would definitely make it more worthwhile than it is now.

Eh, I've never really been short of money, I still think it costs a lot of it for my upgrades but I don't have problems paying them at all.

have you gotten to the point when it takes 20,000 coins to upgrade your buildings or research a new level?

What building level are you talking about O.o most of the ones right now are about 6500 for me, I *know* they get expensive-er but at the pace i've been going the money is increasing as much as the prices.

Level 9 Library will cost you almost 16k in money. And 25k in both bone and wood. The other building materials aren't that far behind.

Armor and Eyes L4 are both 30k+ on flesh and bone, and 20k+ on money.

Better start saving!
