Sorry, but an account that appears to be related to yours has attacked that magus within the past week.

Since it is possible that some people play from the same location (roommates, family members, etc), Muelsfell allows this sort of cooperation between related accounts only if both are Premium Members.

I'm getting this message whenever I attack a magus two times in a row. I think that perhaps new multi protection is blocking any account with the same isp as any previous account that attacked within a week ago - even itself. This basically means that non-Premium members get to attack... once a week.

Got the same message when I tried to attack a second time. There needs to be a check for 'related account' actually being 'same account'.

I am now suddenly tempted to make myself incapable of pvp by attacking every muelsfell member once...

A result due to confusion between the older combat mechanics and the newer and more strict multi account checks.

Basically you can think of it like this:

Combat: Hey, tell me if these are linked.
Account Check: No, they're good.
Combat: I'm gonna block 'em.
Account Check: No, they're GOOD. Let them through.
Combat: Okay. I'm gonna block them.
Account Check: Why did you even bother asking?

Hopefully fixed; there's still some mismatched code between old and new. Let me know ASAP if there's still problems.

[edit] - Incidently, the downtime for today is to address the mismatched code issue. Though it should be a mostly "invisible" change, it's fairly broad and requires I close things up for a few minutes to handle it. :)

Definitely still some problems. I try to attack someone and all I get is a white screen with the following on it: "LOCATION == Jaaron, score=8218, xp=6994"
Same thing happens when I try to attack someone else in a different location, except the location is changed to wherever I'm attacking. also, the score and xp values are different, probably the values for the player I'm attacking.

These two people were in the same clan, and it was a clan that my clan is currently in a skirmish with. If that has any bearing on the problem.

I then tried attacking someone else who isn't in a clan, and the attack went through fine. due to guard protection I can't attack again though. However the screen that tells me they have guards outside their workshop is weird and unformatted.

Edit: So this is definitely a different bug. I attacked another magus from that clan in the same area as one of the previous ones. I was able to attack multiple times without any problems.

I'll need to know exactly who you were attacking, with which of your golems (and what items it had at the time, if you changed any since), and at what time you tried it.

You can message it to me if you don't want others to know who you were attacking.

He's probably attacking me, causing i'm attacking him at same time and i am also getting the white screen when attempting to attack.
He has a lvl 1 admantine golem while i'm using lvl 5 stone. He has his wall up.

With Tidalshot's help, I tracked down the white page bug, but it still seems to be misreading multi-account status so it looks like more tweakage needed yet.

Yep. no more white page. But now I'm getting that erroneous multi message whenever I attack him. Which is odd, because I could attack him at will when other people were complaining about the bug, but now I can't attack either him or another one of his clanmates. However, I can attack a third person freely whom I have never attacked before. So maybe there's something to do with the multi check flagging all attacks before the system was put in place as from a different person on the same IP. Or maybe you know way more about the problem than I do. Happy debugging.
