Yonk's goblins not withstanding, I looked thru this forum before posting this so if I missed a similar one I am sorry. Since people can attack you at any time whether you are online or not, it is easily possible to destroy the golem of someone who is offline. So the idea is: while the player is offline, and a golem is defending the workshop, the golem will be repaired 1 pt/x min or x pts/1 min, based on magus level. destroyed and/or lost parts will not be replaced and it only with sufficient resources. from a story view, the apprentices work to repair the master's golem but are too inexperienced to replace parts and too afraid to run defense. |

Possible alternative is to have option to allow Clan (of in the future, family) be able to make basic repairs to your front line golem (just repairs, not part replacement). The RP of that is that Clan/family members that you've given Access keys to can do basic repairs but each Magi's style of magic is to different for another Magus to attach parts to a golem still under the original Magus' control. Not sure if it should be a "yes- allow Clan/Family to repair my golems" or "I give permission to Magus (name) to repair my golems which uses one of my X Access keys." |
