Darghelm, in the Foothills of Ulvania
The hardy people of Ulvania value family bonds and friends over all else, so Darghelm has developed an extensive network of taverns, cozy inns, and messaging systems. They are not a cowardly nor xenophobic people and so allow people from all over the continent to use their taverns and speakeasy establishments.

I know my clan has an RP forum (two, actually), but it's only accessible to clan members. Perhaps could we have a forum for general Muelsfell roleplaying?

I would just need a little help starting out, no worries about being able to maintain a character. I only have a few dozen squatting in my headspace...>_> (bunch of character ideas for stories but not so good at plot)

And, Poseidon...wouldn't it be a pitchfork?

By no means should he grab a pitchfork! With my luck it'd be Pitchy McStabby!

(non-MUnkies feel free to ignore the blatant injoke contained within this post.)

I think it could be a good idea...

Allowing people to introduce their character ideas and as well as IC conversation...

Elsworth of the State Alchemists

P.S. Imagine what a golem would be like with that pitchfork of limitless rage... Ouch...

Well...if all else fails (*considers breaking the trident*>_>) Poseidon could always take a page out of Vlad Tepes' book and stake the heads of his enemies on the periphery of his workshop.

...which then hits the Shield of Improbable Consequences.

I've been wondering if this idea is going anywhere.
I'm not very experienced with RP, but I am interested in trying it.

I would expect that it would not be difficult for Arkham to add a new section to the forums if enough people were interested, or a thread could just be started somewhere. The largest potential problem I see is that most of the world information and history is not yet public knowledge. I would guess that starting a game-worldwide RP without a definite setting could lead to complications. We would likely reach a point where we'd need to fill in some details on our own.

On one hand, Arkham probably already has a good idea of what he wants going on in the world, and it could go in a completely different direction than what he wants if it's taken out of his control.
On the other hand, the player base probably has a decent amount of collected creative energies, which could be directed towards fleshing out the game world. We've already been asked for monster and spell suggestions, and we've been given the ability to create the news of the world with The Tattler.
Now, if you'd like a third hand, this could be greatly simplified if RPing was confined to the in-game physical location of the forums, the inns and taverns of Darghelm. There would be details sketched out for a few such establishments, and then we all meet in an inn, basically.

What do you think?

With the new senate, I once again find my longing for inter-clan RP increased. If I could visit some of the mages i've been messaging to talk to them about senate dealings, for example, and let other clans get to know me and my SMs the way our clan does in the RP, it would lend a lot more believability and realism to the mandates.

Maybe when the clan shops are implemented some people can open up taverns or cafes. That would lend well to RP between clans.
