I have a question about golem abilities that assumes that one can mix materials on golems (for example, put Bone arms and hands onto a Flesh torso). How would such mixing affect the terrain-specific abilities of Bone/Wood/Clay golems? Are these abilities determined by the type of torso used, or by which material makes up most of the golem in question? Or maybe a golem that was, say, part Bone and part Clay would get both the desert and wetland abilities, but only in proportion to how much of the golem is clay and how much is bone?

Or can you even mix materials, which if not possible, renders the whole question moot?

You can mix materials, I'm using some flesh bits in my bone golem to get it built faster so I'm sure about this.

From what I understand, the golems abilities are bases upon the torso type (what you created it as). My fleshie is all iron except for the chest, but he is still treated as a flesh golem.

If you research Level 2 of a golem - then does that apply to your current golems - or only to the future ones you build?

thanks

Future golems you build. I does cost more to build parts for a level 2 golem than a level 1. You still have the option of building level one parts and golems. That is good if you are looking to make some money. When I start to max out my resources, I'll build a new golem and sell it.

I know, bringing up an ancient post for this, but I've a question on these lines:
Does this mean that if we put clay parts on non-clay torso, that they won't regenerate?

It makes sense (to me anyway) that the benefits of wood and bone golems depend on the torso, and to balance that I guess that the benefits of clay also should depend on the torso, but just making sure.
