ah boredom is a perfectly good reason to start a war, I mean thats half the reason NWO joined in the war, though challenging all of the clans all at once was rather foolhardy

debauchery sounds fun have to see if NWO can open a few bars and brothels once clan jobs are available

Is there... any length to which these minions of darkness will not stoop. NO! Though you drown in rivers of beer it will never wash away the stain of iniquity! Tempt me no more, for I am resolute! While two stones of my workshop remain standing, I will make my answer with naked steel.(makes rude gesture)

EDIT - Except for you, Scone. Seriously, you're on the other side of the map. Who has that kind of motivation?

In the meantime, we shall continue to duel. Let us dance.

Might I also add that MAGIER had been picking on ToMU for so long before we replied that even with all the attacking we've been doing, MAGIER is still ahead in the skirmish reports.

How ironic it is, that a clan with the word angelic in it, has members that will violate a clans nutrality. CommComms, FartherCoyne Knows we are nutral, and may have said something to you on the subject, and I hav also messaged you about the attacks on Phoenix's members. So, be angelic, and respect a clans nutrality.
By not doing so, you are contradicting your name.
The people that joined my clan, all agreed whn they did, not to attack anyone in a clan, which ever side they were on. Maybe that is something that your clan CommComms may wish to bare in mind.
So, please stop attacking the nutrals. No one from other clans is attacking me or psimon, who used to be in Majiour so, why attack players who want no part in your pointless war for control.

Jesus, that was what? Five days ago? I'm going to tell you again: I attacked one of your members because he had some nice eyes out on a bone golem. If I had half a thought that your clan were some sort of threat, you'd know it. Just because someone attacks you doesn't mean it's personal or a clan war or anything other than a passing thought. Now go stir up trouble elsewhere.

The irony in that is the fact that saying you won't cease, you are admitting to having done so... which is an admission of guilt as far as the 'selfish intentions' are concerned... as well as an admission to the falsity of your nobility...

Oh good, so anyone can join in the indiscriminate attacking of everyone else with confidence that they won't sustain that much damage in comparison. Yes, this is irony...

We'd love to but we're out of iron. It turns out no one ever paid the tax.

We still haven't officially demanded it of anyone yet, we're still fending off 3/4 of the realms combined point total. :p I must say though, makes for great xp.

And what about the one on the first of august also? Was that because they had a nice barrel of beer outside there workshop? Or, because they were not at a high enough level to fight back?
Using your reasoning though, America shouldn't have joined the second world war either, they were only attacked because Japan wanted something of their's that they couldn't have, and because they couldn't take it they destroyed it.
Interesting logic CommComms, but history is unfortunately not on your side.

Neither, I might add, is most of the playerbase.

CC, maybe you should get no pvp? It'd make everyone incredibly happy.

He can't because no one payed the tax. Also, I thought it was against the beliefs of every church to steal things. Never mind, it is ironic that the saying is an eye for an eye and that is what CC wanted. As I am nutral, I can't attack as I wish not to give reason for either side to attack anyone in my clan.
But here is my contribution to the whole thing.
You can't destroy clans yet, so what is the point. Just lay off the chips and stop fanny arsing about kids.

Palleon, please refrain from speaking until you can form a coherent thought. I'm sorry if that sounds mean, but please.

Actually, we can do a lot of damage to a clan now, even if we can't destroy it. Bash golems and leech experience and score from the clan members if one goes down completely.

Oh, and haven't you ever heard of a tithe?

Thank you Sconibulus. Despite our differences, that is one post I can wholeheartedly agree with.

Palleon, nearly every statement you've made in this thread is so overwhelmingly wrong in multiple ways. Spellcheck, think about what you're saying, and if you're going to make accusations or claims please try and be sure they have some tenuous connection to truth.

I don't really mind any heckling or criticism so long as it's done with a degree of class and/or cleverness.

If I remember correctly, palleon said he was blind at some point in the forums (I don't feel like looking for it...). If that is true, it would account for his spelling, which I can forgive. My point to palleon is that getting involved in an argument precludes you staying neutral in a fight, whether you send a golem to attack or not.

As for who actually started this war, it is endlessly debatable. MAGIER posted their mandate demanding a tribute from all other clans, but the clan alliance opposed to MAGIER launched the first attacks.

And while we may not be able to reduce the levels of the clan headquarters itself, the war can effectively stop the clan from advancing.

oh yea, that -really- takes the guilt off you for marauding about and beating on players that can't fight at your level. Mmm yes, school yard bully syndrome... 'I like it so I'll just take it'. Well guess what, the tables have turned and now we are taking things back. suck it up and take it like a mage.

also I would love to point out how many MAGIER higher-ups have decided to opt out of PvP after allowing this war to start with their ultimatum issues as a tax. Real stand up guys aren't they. Everybody, let's give them the respect they are demanding! We owe it to them to show them what this world thinks of bullies.

and don't give me that "we didn't start a war" crap. Every reasonable soul knows that extortion will always lead to violence of one kind or another. and those in MAGIER that stood by and said nothing are as much at fault as those that signed on to it. and for that they shall all feel the fires of war, all evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

But one good thing has come of this... all those opting out of PvP had to get tickets, which means Ark is getting paid. War is good for buisness

This reminds me of the time I took the ferry over to Shelbyville to get a new heel out on my shoe. So, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry back then cost a nickel; and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter!" you'd say. Now where was I? Oh yes, the important thing was that I was wearing an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. Couldn't get no red onions, because of The MAGIER War... nor white onions... just the big yellow ones.
