Spell *twitch* check *twitch* is your friend... *twitch* o_.;;
Seriously, I can't wait til Arkham can work down his list to the clan jobs, in the hopes that someone can run the newspaper. Hookt on foniks much? One last thing, I am surprised no one is writing war commentary.

Arkham, could you put in something about lible? Palleon (it's obviously him) has put me down as saying things that I blatantly wouldn't and it's even out of my character. Either that or I'll have to have Palleon doing some ridiculous things myself. It's a disregard of RP. Plus, he's put it in twice.

Well, I'd guess that despite the sound and fury, it really isn't much of a 'war' for anyone other than a Magus.

Theoretically, the respective States/Kingdoms would get involved if so. I mean if a single squad of the Dimitrian guard can deter attacks from an uber-powered golem and magus, I don't think the petty inter-Clan day to day of a skirmish even really rate as major news.

Could you please put in an official way to break up large articles? I just tried to post a big one and had to break it in half, unfortunately I accidentally posted half in the advice column, and am loath to repost, could you please move it for me?

Relaxe ShaoKahn, The article is clearly talking about someone called "Shao Cahn" and unless you've been misspelling your own name up until this point I don't really see any cause for concern.

Besides, I am shocked and offended that this "Shao Cahn" fellow got a smear piece before I did!

I think the anonymous reporters have not done a piece on you because it would be too easy, CommComms. As for me I have no grudge against you.

EDIT: You want the camel? You can't handle the camel! and thank you Poseidon for that in-depth investigation.

He's only spelt my name wrong because he was too lazy to check it's spelling. He text me after putting it in and told me to look.

From Penny-Arcade it's Gabe's law of anonymity or something: "Average person + complete anonymity = jacka**"

I think a better idea than turning off anonimous posting in the future (once you've got a permenant actual editor) would be to have a report this item button. Players can then file reports against articles that have something scandalous, over the top offencive and other such things. They should be able to write a short piece to the editor after clicking the button to tell the editor what's wrong with the article and the editor can choose to remove it and place sanctions should he/she feel it necessary.

Or if there should be character editors in the future for the newspaper, their jobs would be to check submitted articles for spelling grammar mistakes. And to field any complaints on articles that have been posted, and if necessary file a retraction of past articles like any other paper.

If we can't get support for longer articles, could we at least have the failure to submit message kick back with the attempted article still in the text field, and a character count? For example "You cannot submit articles over 2500 characters, your article is 2536 characters in length."

Two things:

1) How long do articles stay on the newspaper?
2) Should the volume still be on 2? It has been Volume 2 for several days now...

The character count when submitting articles will be added sooner or later; other projects are taking priority at the moment. It is on the list, which grows every day.

Articles stay in the newspaper for one week (real time).

The volume should have changed by now; ingame time is convuluted, so it's probably calculating something incorrectly.

Could articles maybe stay in the newspaper for longer... perhaps until pushed off-page? It'd be better to have a bunch of old articles hanging around then for the sample articles to consume everything.

I've extended the time before articles expire by an extra week. Eventually I'll make it so that old ones only expire as they're pushed off, but I'm doing some strange things with limit to give it a newspaper layout, so it'll take me some fiddling to make that work.

I've also changed the marque so that only the titles and author are shown, as per request.
