So, why did our skirmish with MAGIER end? I don't see anything in the logs saying anyone offered to end it, and we've definitely been attacking them often enough (every day, often multiple times)... we now have a recorded lost skirmish and an ongoing, very high scoring skirmish. If it really HAD ended, shouldn't the scores have been reset to 0? I think the new auto-ending skirmish has a bug.

Indeed. Maybe it's because at some point way back when there was a gap in attacks and it retroactively recorded all the attacks before that as a separate skirmish? Only thing I can think of.

Also, there's currently no skirmish displayed between MAGIER and OTAKU on our activities page, which is weird, because we've been attacking each other.

OTAKU has skirmishes disabled. What's really weird is that pseudo loss we have against OASIS, which I can't display because there are no finished skirmishes between us.

The ended skirmishes have just ended again, and are still listed, so I expect they'll keep ending until fixed.

Seriously, though; it's probably related the new code that automatically ends old skirmishes... which seems to be broken and ending current ones.

I'm very likely going to have to clear the records of finished skirmishes.

Once again, a case of something working perfectly fine in the development version and breaking in live. Will take some time to find out what's different.

the difference is real (game) world versus simulation. It is what happens in all tests of any kind. Why do you think so many xboxes that got released to market ended up with the red ring of death??

Yeah, it's crazy. In a MMORGPer I used to work for, we had, like, three different levels of QC and things STILL broke once they went live.

I'm going to leave the skirmishes auto-end stuff offline at least over the weekend while I run more tests.
