Hello all,

Alright so I just picked up the fulcrum hacksaw and immediately thought of a possible issue.

I know you can't sell or trade transmuted golems, no problem there. I quick checked if I could saw off a piece of golem #8113 (transmuted flesh to iron), namely the head and put it on the market place.

I could. Took it off the market and figured I should see if this was a point of interest to the powers that be.

The benefit from transmutation comes from the actual golem, not the limbs, so I suspect Ark isn't too concerned about iron limbs with a lower max hp floating around the marketplace. Unless it doesn't differentiate it from any other iron arm, thus resulting in someone getting a weaker iron arm than they paid for...

Still, good catch.

Okay, with that in mind I did a double check.
I at least from my stall see no difference/indication that it's any different from any other iron body part.

Put the head up for sale for an amount that no one would buy (90,000 adamantine) so it could be double checked from an "outside" view point.

Yup, was already aware of it, and yes, the real value of a transmuted golem is the golem itself. :)

The market doesn't keep track of the hit points of a golem component, so it'll treat it as a standard iron part including hit points when bought.

The market will eventually be rewritten. Part of that rewrite will be to let buyers review an item before purchase, so I'll probably open things up so that parts with different hit points can be sold (damaged, transmuted, or otherwise).

Ooh, as an idea for after the market gets rewritten, could we scrap golem components for base materials?

Right now, a Premium can do the whole golem, but it would be nice if I could for example, scrap some spare bone arms should I be needing bone for something. I wouldn't even mind a penalty, but it would be a nice premium-level option.
