Tried out PVP - just attacked a friend. Nothing serious, but it seemed like the places on my golem that were armored recieved as much damage as the places that weren't, which is odd. |

I am also seeing no feedback on the efficacy of armour. I also must question if it is currenty coded. |

I've noticed that I'm taking less damage in areas that are armored, but more damage overall. I've gone from taking 2 (armored) to 5 (unarmored) damage to taking 4 (armored) to 8 (unarmored) fighting against the same level 1 monster. I still take the occasional less-damage hit or have a no-damage fight, but overall it seems to be more. Note: My golem is consistently doing more damage as well. He crit for 26 the other day... *boggle* |

Armor seems to affect damage taken from monsters, but I have seen no change in damage taken in a PvP fight. No matter what type of armor was present (or not present), I have received 2 damage per hit. Edit: This only seems to be the case with my flesh golem, as in a recent bone vs bone fight, there were significant differences in damage dealt and received to the various parts.Last Edited: Apr 9, 2008, 8:26 pm |

I'm making a new post to make certain it gets seen. It occurs to me that I have never seen less than 2 damage actually dealt in an attack. Is that the minimum damage for a successful attack? Would that explain the apparent ineffectiveness of armor? |
