So... I've noticed that I'm not getting very much exp for killing the things near me. In fact I seem to be getting between 0 and 1 experience fighting and winning with my Level 1 Wood Golem (who doesn't always win, and often gets beaten severely despite the armor).

Is this as designed?

If this is as designed, it really doesn't make sense for me to upgrade my golem at all for PVE (or fight anything other than the level 1 monster, since the level 2 monster gives worse loot and the same exp), just the parts and pieces of my starting golem,

If you want good experience gains, you have to use a low level Golem. :-\

Hmmm. I only got 3 exp for killing the level 2 thing with my starter golem. Perhaps the close-by level 2 thing is just a bad level 2 thing. :)
