This one is related to the current economy and the crippling lack of tickets available. There are two problems with the current situation 1)For people who donate, it is cheaper to just pay for a premium subscription than buy tickets, and the tickets have little usefulness to them other than to sell. 2)The only high level sink of resources and money is in clans, and so as the game goes on, people will not be too interested in paying real money to convert to tickets, to convert to game money. A ticket sink will not solve this problem, as there are many uses for the tickets. The problem is that trading tickets for money is not a good trade for most people, as money eventually becomes undervalued. Thus, to encourage Donations->Tickets->Trading and net more money for the devs, and more tickets for us, we need some money-sinks, and they must be useful ones. The first feasible suggestion is an overhaul of the slot machine system. Allow for a selectable wager, I.E, 25gp, 250gp, etc. When the slot system rolls 3 of a secondary resource, it awards 100, 1000, etc of that resource (Obviously modifiable). This gives us an easy to implement, easy to rebalance moneysink, as a way to convert money to secondary resources would make money more useful. Though if this is done, the money payout rate of the slot machine should be nerfed somewhat, as the slots eventually always pull profit, and higher wagers would exacerbate the money problem. The second solution, though less feasible, more balance touchy, and harder to implement, would be to extend the workshop construction trees to 25, 30, etc. The formulas involved in the construction would make this a big enough sink to make money worth more, but it introduces both balancing issues and coding issues. The third solution, quite feasible, but requiring new code, would be to add more items to the market, available for gold. To make it a worthwhile sink, it could be a form of rental system, and the items could be superior to individual ones. For example, 20% accuracy eyes for 10,000 a day, etc. The prices and qualities are easy enough to fix. The fourth solution, from Yamikuronue that I like: "Here's an idea - let us rent buildings. I'd love to rent a warehouse, at a certain cost per day/week/month/whatever, where I could store spare golems. Maybe make there be a time they have to travel to get them out, so it's not just an extension of the basement, but I have all these offensive golems I've built in case my clan goes to war and I need the basement room for scrapper golems." If anyone else has other ideas, comments, constructive criticism, or just an agreement with the above, please post. The more replies, the more the thread is noticed.
